RECIPES
Classic Beef Burger
Makes: 4 burgers
Ingredients
225g steak mince
50g onion, finely chopped
25g fresh bread crumbs
1tbs tomato ketchup
1tsp mustard
Seasoning
Olive oil
To serve
Sesame seeded buns
Mayonnaise (optional)
Salad leaves
1 onion, peeled and sliced
Tomato, sliced
Cheese slices
Method
1. Place the steak mince, onion, bread crumbs, barbecue seasoning, ketchup and
mustard into a bowl and mix together. Season generously.
2. Divide the mixture into 4 and shape into burgers.
3. Preheat the Burger Maker for a couple of minutes until the green light comes on.
Position the drip tray.
4. Brush each side of the burger with a little olive oil and place 2 burgers into the
Burger Maker. Close the lid and cook for 3 minutes until the burgers are nicely
charred and piping hot. Keep warm.
5. Split the bread rolls and warm in the Burger Maker for about 1 minute. Spread
with mayonnaise if using.
6. Fill each roll with salad leaves and a burger, top with onions, tomato and a
cheese slice.
7. Serve with a side helping of ketchup and mustard.
Tip
Burgers can be assembled, wrapped and stored in the fridge for up to 2 days before use or
frozen for up to 3 months, defrost before use.
Big Bite Beefburger
Makes: 2 burgers
Ingredients
225g steak mince
50g onion, finely chopped
25g fresh breadcrumbs
1tsp barbecue seasoning
1tbs tomato ketchup
1tsp mustard
Seasoning
Olive oil
