Restart training session
If you resume the training session within 10 minutes, the coun-
ting continues up or down from the last values.
End of training - standby mode
If the training session is not continued and a key is not pressed,
the display switches to standby mode after 10 minutes. If you
press the "SET" key or start pedalling the display appears
again with training standby mode.
Under "Custom settings > Eco" you can decide whether the dis-
play is switched off using "On" in standby mode or if "OFF" is
kept as the default.
Training options
•2 modes: Racing exercise bike with 20-stage gearset or exer-
cise bike with "Auto" power setting.
•Heart rate controlled training using pulse hold “PULSEHOLD"
Training with gearset
The control simulates a 20-stage gearset. The gears can be
changed using the arrow keys or gear levers. The power is cal-
culated from the set gear and speed. The training session
begins when you start pedalling. All the values count up.
The changing of gears using the arrow keys does not skip the
usual chain ring and pinion combinations.
Training with power setting
The power can be changed using the arrow keys or gear
levers. The training session begins when you start pedalling.
All the values count up.
Training using heart rate control "PULSEHOLD"
By pressing and holding the "SET" key the current pulse is
applied as the target heart rate and "PULSEHOLD" is displayed.
The control adapts the training session to maintain the heart
rate. Press the key again or interrupt the training to end this fun-
ction.
If the current heart rate is 10 beats below or over the target
heart rate the heart symbol is displayed without an outline and
a beep sounds if "Activate warning beep in PULSEHOLD func-
tion" is enabled under "Custom settings".
The PULSEHOLD function is only possible in the "Auto" power
setting mode when recording the pulse. The current pulse must
be over 90 beats/min.‡
"P" is displayed if the pulse signal is lost and the power is decrea-
sed.
