Recomendaciones acerca de la organización de su entren-
amiento con el ergómetro-bicicleta
La base para nuestras recomendaciones son las “condiciones iniciales”
eventualmente determinadas mediante la prueba escalonada descrita an-
teriormente:
1. Su capacidad cardiovascular corresponde al promedio:
Intensidad = ca. 65% der la capacidad máxima de rendimiento (véase
tabla 1 o sea ecuación)
Volumen = 10 minutos diarios
o 2, mejor 3 sesiones semanales de 30 minutos
o 1, mejor 2 sesiones semanales de 60 minutos
2. Su capacidad cardiovascular se sitúa por debajo del promedio:
Intensidad = aprox. el 60% de la capacidad máxima de rendimiento
(corresponde a unos 5 pulsaciones menos de las pulsaciones indicadas
en la tabla.
Volumen = 10 minutos diarios
o 2, mejor 3 sesiones semanales de 30 minutos
o 1, mejor 2 sesiones semanales de 60 minutos
3. Su capacidad cardiovascular se sitúa por encima del promedio:
Intensidad = aprox. el 70 - 75% de la capacidad máxima de rendimien-
to (corresponde a unos 5 –10 pulsaciones más de las pulsaciones indi-
cadas en la tabla 1.
Volumen = 10 minutos diarios
o 2, mejor 3 sesiones semanales de 30 minutos
o 1, mejor 2 sesiones semanales de 60 minutos
Al principio de cada sesión debería pedalear durante 3 –5 minutos au-
mentando el esfuerzo lentamente para “activar” su sistema cardiovascu-
lar y la musculatura.
El “Cool down” (la disminución progresiva de esfuerzo) también es muy
importante. Después de cada sesión debería seguir pedaleando durante
2-3 minutos contra poca resistencia.
Si quiere aumentar el esfuerzo de su entrenamiento, al principio siempre
deberá aumentar el volumen de esfuerzo, p.e. entrenarse 20 minutos
diarios en vez de 10 minutos diarios o entrenarse 3 veces la semana en
vez de 2 veces.
