Informatie over de batterij:
De Li-ion-batterij bevat ontvlambare substanties zoals organische
oplosmiddelen. Verkeerd gebruik van de batterij kan leiden tot
breuk van de batterij, waardoor brandgevaar of hoge temperaturen,
verslechtering van de prestatie of andere beschadigingen kunnen
optreden. Houd u zich aan de volgende waarschuwingen.
• De batterij niet uit elkaar halen of anders samenstellen!
De batterij bevat een veiligheidsfunctie en -circuit ter voorkoming van gevaar.
Als deze ernstig worden beschadigd, kan dit leiden tot hitte- of rookvorming,
breuk of brand.
• De batterij niet kortsluiten!
De + en –polen niet verbinden met behulp van metaal (zoals een paperclip
of ijzerdraad). Houd of bewaar de batterij niet in houders die metalen
voorwerpen bevatten (zoals ijzerdraad, kettingen of haarspelden). Als
de batterij kortsluit, veroorzaakt dit een te hoge stroom wat kan leiden tot
hitte- of rookvorming, breuk of brand. Hierdoor worden tevens metalen
voorwerpen verhit.
• De batterij niet verbranden of blootstellen aan hitte!
Als het isolatiemateriaal smelt, wordt de gasventilator of de veiligheidsfunctie
beschadigd. Hierdoor kan ook de elektrolyt gaan branden en kan hitte- of
rookvorming, breuk of brand bij de batterij ontstaan.
• De batterij niet plaatsen in de buurt van vuur, kachels of andere
warmtebronnen (ruimtes met temperaturen van meer dan 80 °C/ 176 °F)!
Als de polymeerafscheiding smelt als gevolg van hoge temperaturen, kan
er een interne kortsluiting ontstaan in de afzonderlijke cellen en kan hitte- of
rookvorming, breuk of brand bij de batterij ontstaan.
• Leder contact van de batterij met water of vocht vermijden!
Als de batterij nat wordt, droog deze af met een droge doek voor gebruik.
Als het veiligheidscircuit van de batterij is beschadigd, laadt de batterij
op met een extreem hoge stroom (of spanning) en kunnen er abnormale
chemische reacties ontstaan. Er kan hitte- of rookvorming, breuk of
brand bij de batterij ontstaan.
