10.3 Audio settings
For stations with poor reception, a slight quality improvement can be achieved by switching to mono
reception. To do this, press the <MENU> button and select "Audio setting". In the following menu
"FM weak reception" you can now answer the question "Listen inMono only" with "YES" or
"NO". The current setting is identied by "*".
10.4 Favourites (memory locations)
20 memory locations (favourites) are available for storing FM stations.
10.4.1 Storing FM stations on the direct selection buttons 1-5 on the radio:
On the radio, you can assign memory locations 1 - 5 using the number keys. To do this, select the
desired station and press a number key until "Preset stored" appears on the display. The memory
locations can be called up by pressing the button briey.
10.4.2 Storing of FM stations with the remote control:
Memory locations 1–10 can be assigned using the number buttons on the remote control. To do this,
select the desired station and press a number key on the remote control until "Preset stored" appe-
ars on the display. The memory locations can now be called up by pressing the remote control briey.
10.4.3 Storing of FM stations in memory locations 11 - 20:
Select the desired station and hold down the <FAVORITE> button on the radio or <FAV> on the
remote control. Now select a memory location from the list of station memories and conrm the
selection with the <NAVIGATE> button on the radio. The "Preset stored" appears on the display.
You can easily call up the memory locations by briey pressing the <FAVORITE> button on the radio
or <FAV> on the remote control. Use the <UP/DOWN> buttons or the <NAVIGATE> knob to select
a station and press <OK> to conrm.
Note: The memory locations cannot be deleted, but can only be overwritten with other stations.
11. Bluetooth Audio
The BLUETOOTH function enables the wireless transmission of music les (audio streaming) to the
radio. Smartphones, tablets or similar devices can be paired. To do this, select the source “Bluetooth
Audio” in the main menu.
11.1 Pairing Bluetooth devices for the first time
Make sure that the terminal device to be paired is switched on and Bluetooth is activated. Select
the source "Bluetooth Audio" in the main menu. The "Bluetooth Discoverable" appears on the
display. Now open the Bluetooth settings on the terminal device to be paired and start searching for
available Bluetooth devices there. Select “KENWOOD CR-ST100S” and start the pairing process.
After successful pairing, "Connected" appears on the display. Now the music playback can be con-
trolled via the terminal. To do this, use the music App of your choice.
Basic operation of play/pause and skip forward/backward is possible using the corresponding buttons
