150 g/5 oz jemně nakrájené cibule

1 velký stroužek oloupaného a

rozdrceného česneku

250 g / 9 oz tmavě hnědého cukru

250 m/9 fl oz sladového octa

Zavažte kořen zázvoru a koření pro

nakládání okurek do malého kousku

mušelínu.

Vložte všechny přísady do varné

nádoby a dobře zamíchejte.

Zakryjte poklicí a vařte na nízkém

(Low) stupni přibližně 8 hodin. Na

konci této dobu sejměte poklici,

zamíchejte přísady, přepněte na

vysoký (High) stupeň a nechte směs

vařit dalších 30 – 60 minut nebo

dokud nebude dosažena správná

hustota. Nechte mírně zchladit, nalijte

do čistých sklenic a ihned uzavřete.
