Common Commands
Common commands (summarized in Table 4-4) are device commands that are common
to all devices on the bus. These commands are designated and defined by the IEEE-488.2
standard.

memory option is installed and whether or not
the optional scanner card is installed.
Returns the Model 2000 to the setup configu-
ration stored in the specified memory loca-
tion.
Returned the Model 2000 to the *RST default
conditions.
Saves the current setup to the specified
memory location.
Programs the Service Request Enable Regis-
ter.
Reads the Service Request Enable Register.
Reads the Status Byte Register.
Sends a bus trigger to the 2000.
Performs a checksum test on ROM and
returns the result.
Wait until all previous commands are exe-
cuted.
