The power assistance level is shown on

the display and can be adjusted with the

buttons on the control unit. The assistance

level can be adjusted at any time, in the

default conguration from 0 to 5, even when

cycling. The system is passive and provides

no assistance at level 0. From level 1 the

system gradually assists up to the maximum

assistance level 5.

1. Press the + button repeatedly to step up

the power assistance to the required level,

or the – button to reduce.

2. The set power assistance level is shown on

the display. The default setting is level 1.

Battery indicator

The battery charge level is indicated with ve

bars in a battery symbol. Each bar corresponds

to about 20% of the battery’s total capacity.

When the battery is completely at the battery

symbol ashes to remind you that it needs

charging immediately.

Motor power indicator

The motor power is indicated with a symbol on

display.

Indicator for USB connection (option)

External devices can be supplied with power

via the USB port in the display. Connect a

smartphone or other similar device to the

USB port with a suitable USB cable. (Charging

voltage 5 V, charging current max 1 A.)

Error code display

The components in the power assistance

system are monitored continuously and

automatically. An error code is shown in the

display eld for text messages if a fault is

detected.

Drive settings

Press both the + and – buttons for 2 seconds to

go to the drive settings menu. All settings must

be done when the bike is stationary.

Resetting of trip meter (tC)

Resetting of trip meter.

1. To reset the trip meter, press the + or –

button until tC-Y is displayed.

2. To save the reset trip meter value and go

to the next setting (backlight brightness),

press the “i” button.

The backlight is adjustable from level 1 (low) to

level 3 (high). The default setting is level 1.

button.
