After having selected the parameter … QAM, press
and go to the sub-menu.
Select the operation mode „Sat signal“/„PRBS“ in the
sub-menu with „+“ or „–“.
Signal Sat Standard operation, the Sat input signal is
converted.
PRBS: Internal pseudorandom signal modulates the
QAM modulator for measurement purposes.
A 64 QAM signal with an output symbol rate
of 6.875 MS/s is generated. No Sat input
signal is required.
The output channels S21-S41/Ch21-Ch37 of UFO 385
are selected with keys „+“ or „-“., or for UFO 387 the
channel mid-frequency 114 MHz to 298 MHz.
If necessary (for frequency fine tuning), press key
in order to change to the sub-menu.
With the keys „+“ or „-“ you can change the output
frequency in the sub-menu in 50 kHz steps. The adjust-
ment range is ± 3.9. MHz relative to the channel
mid-frequency.
