This milk foamer may only be use according to its original purpose and the instructions of this user manual. Manufac-
turer cannot be held liable for damages arising from misuse of this appliance.
Before using this milk foamer for the rst time, please read this user manual carefully. Make this user manual acces-
sible to other users as well.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY IN ORDER TO LOWER THE RISK OF
FIRE OF ELECTRIC SHOCK.
1. Never let children or otherwise incapable people handle the product unsupervised. Set up the product where it
is out of reach of children.
2. Do not let the cable hang down from the counter. Otherwise children could reach it and pull on it.
3. Make sure that the output power of your wall socket matches the required power supply of the product as
indicated on the bottom of the unit and in this user manual.
4. Do not let the milk foamer unsupervise during operation.
5. Never use the product when the cable, plug or other parts of it are damaged or has been dropped down before.
In such a case return the unit to a qualied service for checking and repairing. Never attempt to repair the unit
by yourself. Do not open the product.
6. Damaged parts must be replaced by a qualied service technician.
7. The milk foamer must always be placed properly on the base.
8. Never use a base from another product. Only use the original base which comes with this milk foamer.
9. Do not operate the milk foamer without milk.
10. The lling level must always be between the MIN and MAX markings. If the MAX marking is exceeded it may
lead to spilling and re.
11. Only ll in cold milk, not hot milk. Never ll in other liquids than milk, or water for the purpose of cleaning.
12. The product may get hot on its surfaces during and right after use (danger of burns). Always cary the milk
foamer on the handle.
13. Turn the product off before you take it off the base.
14. Beware of rising steam while pouring out the milk (danger of scalding).
15. Always pull the mains plug after use, during cleaning or if there is any malfunction. Always pull on the plug, and
not on the cable. Let the unit cool off completely before cleaning.
16. Never immerse the unit, the base, the cable or the plug into water.
17. In case the unit is based on small rubber feet take care for a suitable surface. Rubber feet can leave marks on
some surfaces.
18. Packaging materials such as polybags must be kept out of children’s reach. Store packaging materials where
children cannot access it. Dispose of packaging materials according the local regulations.
19. Dispose of old appliances immediately and according to local regulations.
20. Keep this user manual and safety instructions at a safe place and make it available to all users of ths appliance.

• Take all parts of the appliance out of its packaging and make sure that all accessories are included and undam-
aged. Remove all packaging materials.

SETTING UP
• Place the appliance on a at, level and robust surface where it cannot fall over.
• The milk foamer should not be placed under lights or furniture such as cabinets. The rising steam could cause
heat congestion which could lead to damages.
• Do not place the appliance next to a gas or electric stove or oven or other heat sources. The mains cable may
never touch hot surfaces.
