Do not place the appliance next to a sink or other wet areas.
BEFORE THE FIRST USE
Wipe the milk foamer with a damp soft cloth and dry it completey afterwards. Never immerse the appliance or
any part of it into water or other liquids.
Before foaming milk for the rst time, pour some clean water into the milk foamer and switch it on shortly for 2
to 3 times to wash out any possible factory residuals. Dispose of the water afterwards. Use only clean water
without any additives.
OPERATION
1. Connect the mains plug of the base (4) wth a suitable power outlet.
2. Fold out the handle (1) until you hear the release button (2) clicking.
3. Put the beater (7) onto rotating axis of the milk foamer (8).
4. Fill in cold milk to the desire level. Fill in as much milk to go over the MIN marking, but do not exceed the MAX
marking. For optimal milk foam it is suggested to use whole milk (no low-fat or skimmed milk).
5. The capacity of the milk foamer is between 75 - 300 ml. Once the level of milk sinks to 100 ml the milk tem-
perature rises and it produces more foam. If the level exceeds 150 ml the milk temperature gets lower and less
foam is produced.
6. Place the milk foamer (8) onto its base (4) and push the on/off switch (3) to position “1”, the indicator lights up.
The appliance starts the heating process and the milk will get beaten.
7. After a few minutes the milk foamer switches off autoamtically. The milk is foamed.
8. To switch off the appliance or to cancel the foaming early, push the on/off switch (3) to position “0”. The indica-
tor light will go off.
9. Always switch off the appliance before taking the milk foamer (8) off the base (4).
Be careful when pouring out hot milk and beware of hot steam.
10. After each use the milk foamer should be allowed to cool off before using it again.
11. To store the milk foamer after use, press down the release button (2) and fold down the handle (1).
OVERHEATING PROTECTION
This appliance is equipped with an overheating protection. If the heating element gets too hot (e.g. using the appli-
ance with too little milk) the appliance will switch off automatically and cannot be turned back on for a short period of
time. After a cooling phase of at least 10 minutes the milk foamer can be turned back on.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
It is important to thoroughly clean the appliance after each use.
Pull out the mains plug and let the appliance cool off completely before cleaning it.
Carefully take out the beater (7) by pulling it out of the rotating axis of the milk foamer (8). Thoroughly clean the
beater before and after each use with clear water.
Clean the body of the milk foamer with warm water.
The outer surfaces can be cleaned with a damp towel without any detergents. Dry all parts of the appliance
