Display Backlight & Timeout Function
The display backlight can be set in 4 levels (High / Medium / Low / O).
To select between the settings press the DIMMER button repeatedly.
If you would like to have the display backlight switch o automatically after a certain time (Timeout
Function) rather than having the backlight on steadily, you can do so in the DAB+ or FM menu:
While in radio mode (DAB+ or FM) press and hold for 2 seconds the MENU button to enter the
menu. Navigate to the submenu TIMEOUT (under System settings). Here you can select the time
after which the backlight will dim down again automatically (ON, 10 to 180 seconds).
When you select “ON”, the display backlight will remain at the set level and not switch o.
Note:
For a description on how to navigate through the menus, see the chapters “DAB+ Radio” and
“FM Radio”.

The display will show the sleep indicator and the unit will switch to standby mode after the set
duration.
To check how much time is left on the set timer, press the SLEEP button once.
To cancel the sleep function, repeatedly press the SLEEP button until you’ve reached “00”.

Time is synchronized automatically with the DAB+ signal, so the clock does not need to be set manu-
ally.
