To cancel this function, press the ALARM button on the remote control.
Countdown Timer
The unit has a countdown timer which is convenient for cooking and baking where timing is necessary:
1. Press the TIMER button on the unit or on the remote control to enter the timer setting.
2. Select a desired time from 0 - 300 minutes by pressing the ARROW </> buttons on the remote
control or by rotating the CONTROL knob on the unit.
3. Once you have reached the desired time, press the TIMER button again to start the countdown
timer. A timer symbol will be shown in the display.
4. The display will switch back to the previous mode. Press the TIMER button to show the remain-
ing time.
5. Once the timer starts beeping you can deactivate it by pressing the TIMER button once.
To manually stop the countdown buzzer, press TIMER.
DAB+ Radio
1. Switch the unit on as described previously. It will start in the mode last listened to. Select DAB+
mode if it isn’t already selected.
2. When you switch into DAB+ mode for the rst time, the unit will do a full scan for available sta-
tions automatically.
You can do a full scan any time inside the Digital Radio menu (press MENU and select “Full
Scan”) or by pressing the AUTO button on the remote control.
3. Selecting a station using the remote control:
Press the

buttons to scroll through the station list and then press to play the selected
station.
Selecting a station using the buttons on the unit:
Press the or button to enter the station list and scroll by rotating the CONTROL knob. To
play a selected station press OK.
Presets
This unit enables you to store up to 30 of your favorite radio stations:
1. Select a radio station which you would like to store.
2. Press and hold for 2 seconds the MEM/PROG button on the remote control or on the unit to enter
the preset menu.
3. Select the preset no. on which the station should be stored using the
<
/
<
buttons on the remote
control or the CONTROL knob on the unit.
Alternatively you can store the current radio station directly on one of the presets from 1 to 5 by
pressing and holding for 2 seconds the according PRESET (1 - 5) button on the unit.
4. Conrm by pressing on the remote control or OK on the unit.
5. To recall a stored frequency, press the MEM/PROG button once to view the preset list, select the
desired station using the
<
/
<
buttons on the remote control or the CONTROL knob on the unit
and press on the remote control or OK on the unit to play that station.
Alternatively you can select the desired preset station directly by pressing the corresponding
PRESET (1 - 5) button on the remote control.
Slideshow Images
Some radio stations may broadcast slideshow images that can contain further information, such as
news, weather forecast or information on the currently playing programme.
You can enlarge this image by repeatedly pressing on the remote control or OK on the unit.
Info Display
The info eld shows dierent information that is being broadcast from the current radio station (e.g.
program name and type, song currently playing, frequency details, signal error and strength). Press
the INFO button on the remote control or on the unit repeatedly to cycle through such information.
