CD Player
Getting Started
1. Switch the unit on and select the CD mode by pressing the CD FUNCTION button.
2. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to open the CD compartment.
3. Place a CD with the printed side facing up inside the tray.
4. Press the or DISC-CH button to turn the CD tray to insert a second CD. Do the same again
if you wish to insert a third CD.
5. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to close the CD compartment.
6. The CD is being read. Once read the display will show the total number of discs, number of
tracks and playback time of the disc.
Note:
• Any time the system is switched to CD mode or if the CD door is opened and closed, the disc will
be read. Playback functions are only available once the disc is read.
Playing Discs
1. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to start playback of the rst track of the rst disc. The play indica-
tor will be shown in the display.
2. To select another disc for playback, press the DISC 1, DISC 2 or DISC 3 button.
3. To temporarily stop the playback (pause), press the PLAY/PAUSE button once. The display will
be ashing. Press the button again to resume playback.
4. To stop playback, press the STOP ■ button.
Fast Forward / Fast Rewind & Skipping Tracks
• To jump to the beginning of the currently playing track, press the SKIP- button once. Press it a
second time to skip to the previous track.
• To skip to the next track, press the SKIP+ button once.
• To fast forward the currently playing track, press and hold the SKIP+ button. Once you reach
the desired section of the track, release the button to resume normal playback.
• To fast rewind the currently playing track, press and hold the SKIP- button. Once you reach
the desired section of the track, release the button to resume normal playback.
Repeat Modes
This function enables you to repeat one track, one disc or all discs. Press the REPEAT button repeat-
edly to select between the different modes:
REP. ALL DISCS REP. 1 DISC REP. 1 TRACK
Note:
• Single track repeat function is available in normal or programmed playback. Repeat one disc or
all discs is only available in normal playback.
Random Playback
This function enables you to play tracks in a random order:
1. Press the RANDOM button once. The unit will play all discs randomly. Press this button again to
play one disc randomly.
2. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to start random playback.
3. All tracks of all discs or all tracks of one disc will be played back in random order.
4. Press the RANDOM button again to cancel the random playback mode.
Programming Track Order
Up to 60 tracks can be programmed to be played in any desired order from one disc or from all discs
