When the sleep timer is activated the display will show the following symbol with the remaining
time at the bottom:
To change or cancel the sleep function, press the SLEEP button repeatedly to change the
desired time or until “Sleep Timer Off” appears in the display.
7. Time/Date & Alarms
Time/Date
As per the default setting of this unit, time and date will be automatically synchronized through DAB+
and FM/RDS signals.
That means that upon the initial installation of the unit, time and date will be set automatically through
the DAB+ or FM/RDS signal and you do not need to set them manually.
If you do wish to set time and date manually, you can do so inside the System Settings menu.
Alarms
This unit enables you to set 2 separate alarms. You can select to wake to buzzer, DAB+ (Digital Radio)
or FM. You can set the alarms either in standby mode or while the unit is turned on.
1. Press the ALARM button on the remote control or the unit to enter the alarm setup menu.
2. Select whether you want to edit alarm 1 or alarm 2 and press OK.
3. You can now do the detailed settings (use the arrow buttons ▲/▼ to scroll through the items and
OK or ► to view the options, press ◄ to go back to the previous menu):
Alarm: Set the alarm On or Off.
Frequency: Select between Daily, Once, Weekends and Weekdays (Mo-Fr).
Wake Up Time: Set the desired wake up time.
Source: Select the alarm source (buzzer, DAB+ or FM).
Preset: When one of the radio modes is set for mode, select which station should be played (this
setting is not available when buzzer is selected for mode).
Duration: Set the time for how long the alarm should sound.
Volume: Set the max. alarm volume. When the alarm comes on, the volume will increase up to
the set max. volume.
4. You can exit the alarm setting menu now. When you set the Alarm “On” it will sound at the set
time/day.

Activating/Deactivating an Alarm
To deactivate or reactivate a set alarm, enter the alarm settings menu and set Alarm “On” or “Off”.
“Off” means the alarm is not active and will not sound.
Stopping an Active Alarm
When the alarm is sounding, press the ALARM button or the Power button on the remote
control or the /MENU button on the unit to turn it off. The alarm will come on again on the next
day at the set time (depending on the set interval).
Snooze
The snooze function allows you to delay an active alarm. To do so, press the OK button on the remote
control repeatedly (or rotate the VOLUME knob on the unit) while the alarm is active to set a snooze
