REMARK: the fondue can reach high temperatures when in use. Oil and fat preparations
might catch fire if overheated. Be extremely cautious never to leave your appliance in use
for long periods. Do not forget to unplug the appliance once your preparation is ready
and the fondue is no longer in use. Before pulling the mains plug, switch the temperature
selector to the lowest position.
Provide proper ventilation when using the appliance.

BEFORE USE
Remove all packaging from the fryer including the items inside the fryer
Before you use the deep fat fryer for the first time, we recommend that you wash the inner
bowl, basket, and the fondue accessories with hot soapy water. Dry thoroughly -this will
remove any residue from the manufacturing process. 
Attach the handle to the basket by pinching it before inserting it in the support foreseen
on the basket.
USE OF THE DEEP FAT FRYER
FIRST USE
When using the appliance for the first time, pour the required amount of oil in the bowl,
making sure that the level is between the MIN and MAX marks indicated inside the bowl.
We recommend that you use a liquid oil that is suitable for deep fat frying. Check the
label on the bottle. If you wish to use a solid fat, cut the fat in small pieces. Plug it into an
electrical outlet. Put the thermostat on the minimum position and add the fat pieces
slowly. When the fat has melted, set the thermostat to the desired temperature. WARNING:
FAILURE TO OBSERVE THIS WILL DAMAGE YOUR DEEP FAT FRYER.
PREHEATING
When the appliance has been switched on, set the thermostat on the desired temperature.
To reach a stable and correct temperature for use, it is necessary to wait 10 to 15 minutes.
During this time, the temperature control light will go on and off several times.
A good preheating will allow you to have browned and crispy fries.
USE
Place the lid on the deep fat fryer, plug it into an electrical outlet.
Set the thermostat to the desired temperature. The pilot light will illuminate. As soon as the
desired temperature is reached, the pilot light will go out. When the temperature falls, the
thermostat will be activated again, and the pilot light will illuminate. It will go out again as
soon as the temperature is reached.
When the fryer has reached the desired temperature, remove the lid and take out the
basket with the handle. Place the food slowly into the basket to avoid splashes.
