Sewing test
After threading make a trial run. Always use a double layer of fabric to check the stitch
formation and thread tension properly.
• Switch the machine on (“ I “).
• Set all tensions to 4.
• Stitch length, differential, cutting width.
• Lower the upper knife.
• Lower the presser foot.
• Raise the front of the presser foot slightly with your thumb and position the fabric under
the foot just up to the knife. Sew.
At the end of the seam continue sewing a 5 - 6 cm (2 - 2 1/2'’) long thread chain (A).
• Holding the fabric in one hand, pull the thread chain over the thread cutter (B).
** When using cordonnet or the like, pull out the thread chain carefully (C) by hand as it might
catch in the stitch plate. Use those threads in the loopers only.
Costura de prueba
Después del enhebrado hacer una costura de prueba. Coser sobre dos capas de tela para
poder evaluar correctamente la formación del punto y la tensión del hilo.
• Poner en marcha la máquina („ I “).
• Poner todas las tensiones de los hilos a 4.
• Largo del punto, transporte diferencial, posición de la cuchilla (consultar la próxima página).
• Bajar la cuchilla superior.
• Bajar el prensatelas.
• Levantar ligeramente la punta del pie prensatelas con el pulgar y colocar la tela debajo del
prensatelas, delante de la cuchilla. Coser.
Al terminar la costura, continuar cosiendo pasando por el borde de la tela hasta formar una
cadena de hilo de unos 8 cm (A).
• Sujetar la tela con la mano izquierda y pasar la cadena de hilo por el corta-hilos (B).
** Si se utilizan hilos como cordonet o algo similar, utilizar los mismos sólo como hilos de la
lanzadera, sacar la cadena de hilo cuidadosamente (C) con la mano para evitar que se
enganche en la placa-aguja.
Essai de couture
Après l’enfilage, effectuer un essai de couture sur une double couche de tissu afin de pouvoir
mieux juger de la formation du point et de la tension de fil.
• Mettre la machine sous tension („I“).
• Régler toutes les tensions de fil sur 4.
• Régler la longueur de point, l’entraînement différentiel, la position du couteau (voir page
suivante).
Abaisser le couteau supérieur
Abaisser le pied-de-biche.
• Soulever légèrement la pointe du pied-de-biche avec le pouce, puis faire glisser le tissu sous
le pied, devant le couteau. Abaisser le pied-de-biche, puis coudre.
• Une fois l’extrémité de l’ouvrage atteinte, piquer au-delà du bord (A) de façon à former une
chaînette d’env. 8 cm.
• Saisir l’ouvrage de la main gauche et faire passer la chaînette sur le coupe-fil (B).
** En cas d’emploi de fils (dans les boucleurs) comme le cordonnet ou similaires, retirer la
chaînette de fil (C) à la main pour éviter l’accrochage dans la plaque à aiguille.
Prova di cucitura
Al termine dell’infilatura, si consiglia di fare una prova di cucitura. Eseguire la prova di cucitura
sempre su due strati di stoffa, per giudicare bene la formazione del punto e la tensione.
Accendere la macchina, interruttore principale su („I“).
• Regolare le tensioni su 4.
• Lunghezza del punto, trasporto, differenziale, posizione del coltello.
Abbassare il coltello superiore.
Abbassare il piedino.
Alzare la punta del piedino con il pollice e posizionare la stoffa sotto il piedino, davanti al
coltello. Abbassare il piedino e cucire.
Alla fine della stoffa continuare a cucire oltre il bordo e formare una catenella di 5-6 cm.(A).
• Prendere il lavoro con la mano sinistra e tirare la catenella sopra il taglia-filo (B).
** Usare filo perlato o filati simili solo nei croceht. Tirare la catenella (C) con la mano
per evitare che essa si attacchi alla placca d’ago.
