1.) Click the “Remove account” button. This will bring up the conrmation page
2.) Click the “Proceed” button to conrm or click the “Cancel” button to cancel and go back to the “My Support” main page
Logging out
1.) Click the “Log out” button to bring up the conrmation page
2.) Click the “Yes” button to conrm. This will bring up the initial login page.
Exiting the software
Click the button in the top right corner to exit the HeartPal software application
CONNECT THE IQUA ACTIVE TO YOUR MOBILE PHONE OR MUSIC PLAYER
The Iqua ACTIVE is compatible with all Nokia phone models containing a 3.5 mm stereo connector. The built-in microphone is only functional when connected to a Nokia phone.
Using the included adapter extends the compatibility to all devices with a 3.5 mm stereo connector.
HEART RATE MODE
Measuring your heart rate
1.) Fully press the Heart Rate button. Then release the button, but leave your thumb gently on resting on top of it
2.) Do not move your thumb during the measurement. While measuring, the orange LED will blink continuously
3.) When your heart rate is successfully measured, you will hear your heart rate read aloud through the earphone
4.) The device will then save the heart rate information automatically
WORKOUT MODE
Starting the counter
In this mode, the device will measure and capture your workout information – including distance, number of running steps / walking
steps, time and calories consumed.
1.) Press and hold the Workout key for 3 seconds to power on and start the workout function. The blue LED light will blink continuously
2.) Press and hold the Workout key for 3 seconds to stop the workout function and hear the workout information in your earphone
3.) The device will save the workout information automatically
Note:
** When listening to music with the Voice Out function activated, the music volume will lower during readings. After readings, the music
volume will resume to its previous level.
Voice Out
When heart rate checking is on, the Voice Out function will be active and your heart rate information will be read aloud automatically.
When the Workout function is on, the workout information can be heard by double-tapping the surface of the device or pressing the
workout button once.
Note:

volume will resume to its previous level.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Issue Diagnostics
The device is not charging
when connected to a PC
If connected to a USB hub, make sure the hub is self-powered
Disconnect and reconnect the device to the PC. Try a different USB port if available
The device keys do not
work
Make sure battery power is sufcient
Reset the device. (Please refer to the “Reset Device” section for more information)
The workout value sounds
wrong.
Ensure that you are wearing the device properly (Please refer to the “Wearing your device” section)
If the device is placed in a bag, note that the bag could be moving irregularly
Ensure that you are jogging at a consistent pace
Try jogging or walking slowly
The device may be capturing vibrations from a moving vehicle (such as riding a bicycle, automobile, train or bus) while the step count feature is activated
The device cannot count steps accurately:
- During a standing up or sitting down movement
- When playing sports that include movements other than walking/jogging or running
- When ascending or descending stairs or hills
You might have an inaccurate personal prole setting. Check the setting. (Please refer to the “Prole Editing / Calibration” in the “Settings” section)
Thepedometer is not
reading your initial steps
The device is designed to count steps (including the initial steps) only after a few steps have been taken
The Voice Out function is
incorrectly triggered during
running
Ensure that you are wearing the device properly (Please refer to the “Wearing your device” section)
If the device is placed in a bag, note that the bag could be moving irregularly
Change the double-tap speed to fast in the device settings
No sound during playback
Check if the volume level is set too low
Check if the earphones are inserted rmly in the mobile phone or music player
Check if the earphone plugs are dirty. Clean them with a soft cloth if necessary.

RESETING THE DEVICE
If your Iqua ACTIVE is not functioning or responding to key presses, use a small object to press the Reset button on the back of your device.
Light indication summary
The LED lights on the Iqua ACTIVE can be blue or orange. The different signals indicate:

- Do not use or store the device in dusty, dirty areas. Its moving parts and electronic components can be damaged
- Do not use water, chemicals, cleaning solvents or detergents to clean the device.
- Use a soft, clean, dry cloth to clean the device.
- Do not use excessive force on the buttons.
- Keep out of extreme heat or cold. The device is operable between 0°C - 40°C degrees (32°F -104°F).
- To avoid damage, make sure you do not drop, smash, bend or crash the device.
- Keep the device away from strong magnetic elds.
- Do not disassemble or modify the device yourself. Do not stick anything inside the device as this may damage internal components.
- Use only authorized Iqua parts and accessories. Parts and accessories not approved for use with the device may damage the unit.
- When uploading or downloading data using a USB dongle, do not disconnect the USB dongle during data transfer or turn the device off.
- Do not expose the device to liquid, moisture or humidity as it is not waterproof.
- Do not store the device in hot areas. High temperatures can shorten the life of electronic devices, damage batteries, and warp or melt certain plastics.
- Do not store the device in cold areas. When the device returns to its normal temperature, moisture can form inside the device and damage electronic circuit boards.
- Do not drop, knock, or shake the device. Rough handling can break internal circuit boards and ne mechanics. Data can be damaged because of physical impact, lightning and power failure.
- Do not expose your device to contact with sharp objects as this will cause scratches and damage.
- Do not dismantle the device or the charger as they do not contain serviceable parts and taking apart the device may expose you to dangerous voltages or other hazards.
- Act according to your local rules and do not dispose of this product as part of your normal household waste. Follow the applicable separate collection system for electrical and electronic products.
