IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
WARNING: TO REDUCE THE RISK OF SERIOUS INJURY, ENSURE YOU READ ALL
THE INSTRUCTIONS AND WARNINGS FULLY BEFORE USING THIS APPLIANCE.
The InStyler rotating styling iron has been carefully developed for both its effectiveness
and safety features. However, basic safety precautions should always be followed
when using any product, particularly where children are present.
• The rotating InStyler has not been designed to be used by children.
• Keep away from water.
• DANGER – as with most electrical appliances, the electrical parts remain live
even when the appliance has been switched off. To reduce the risk of electric
shock:
1. ALWAYS SWITCH OFF IMMEDIATELY AFTER USE.
2. NEVER use in the bath or shower.
3. NEVER store or place the InStyler in a place where it could fall, e.g. into a
bathtub, toilet, washbasin or other water source.
4. Do NOT place the appliance in water or other liquid or allow to drop.
5. If the InStyler falls into water, DO NOT TRY TO REMOVE IT FROM THE
WATER! Unplug immediately from the power supply.
• WARNING: TO REMOVE THE RISK OF BURNS, FIRE, ELECTRIC SHOCK, DEATH,
INJURY OR DAMAGE TO PROPERTY:
1. Fake versions of the InStyler do exist. To ensure that you have purchased an
authentic product and to reduce the risk of burns, electric shock and malfunc-
tion, only purchase the appliance from an approved dealer.
2. Only use the InStyler for its intended purpose as described in this handbook.
Do not use with accessories that have not been approved by the manufac-
turer.
3. NEVER use if the cord or plug show signs of damage or if the appliance is
not functioning properly, has been dropped or damaged or has fallen into
water. If the cord or plug have been damaged, the heated barrel must be
replaced by the manufacturer or service centre to avoid a hazard.
4. Keep this product and its cord out of reach of water and heated surfaces until
it has cooled down. Do NOT wrap the cord around the InStyler.
5. This product has moving parts. Please keep this appliance away from
children and animals when in operation or unattended.
6. The InStyler should NEVER be left unattended when switched on.
7. NEVER use while sleeping.
8. NEVER put objects into any openings on the InStyler.
9. DO NOT use outside where aerosol sprays are being used or oxygen is
being administered.
10. DO NOT use an extension cable with the InStyler.
11. The InStyler heated barrel and unit may become hot when in operation. Do
not allow skin or eyes to come into contact with the hot surface.
12. DO NOT place the InStyler on an unprotected surface whilst in use. Only use
together with the supplied InStyler mat.
