Screw the handlebar post (2) securely to the
frame (1) using bolts (16) and spring washers
(56)
Step 3
Push the axle (27) into the socket at the top
of the handlebar post (2).
Screw the left pivoting arm (6L) to the axle
(27) using a hexagonal screw (24), a spring
washer (52) and a washer (64). Only tighten
the hexagonal screw manually.
Fit the right pivoting arm (6R) in the same
way.
Screw the left crossbar (5L) to the left pedal
crank (22) using a bolt (38L), a wave washer
(62), a spring washer (41) and lock nut (42L).
Only tighten the bolt manually.
Fit the right crossbar (5R) in the same way.
Screw the left pivoting arm (6L) and the left
crossbar (5L) together using a hexagonal
screw (30), a washer (31), and a lock nut (32).
Make sure that the parts are correctly in
place before tightening the lock nut fully.
Screw the right pivoting arm (7R) and the
right cross bar (8R) together in the same way.
Place caps (23, 43, 57) on the lock nuts.
Screw the left footplate (10L) securely to the
left crossbar (5L) using hexagonal screws
(33), washers (34) and lock nuts (35).
Fit the right footplate (10R) in the same way.
Tighten all the screws.
Step 4
Feed the pulse cables (50) through the hole
at the top of the handlebar post (2) and pull
it out through the computer bracket.
Screw the stationary handlebar (8) to the
handlebar post (2) using hexagonal screws
(51) and spring washers (52). Put the cover
plate (53) on.
Screw the left handlebar (7L) securely to
the left pivoting arm (6L) using a bolt (45), a
curved washer (44) and a lock nut (58).
Fit the right handlebar (7R) in the same way.
