function is particularly suitable because
it heats the food gently, preventing it
from rising up to the top of the jars.

If using 0.5 litre jars reduce the time by
about 15 minutes. If using 0.25 litre jars
reduce the time by about 20 minutes.
Proceed as follows:

Place the rack on runner level 2.
^
Place the prepared jars (all the same
size) on the rack, ensuring that they
do not touch one another. This allows
the hot steam to surround the jars on
all sides.
We recommend that you place the jars
once behind the other (as illustrated): 3
on the left, 3 on the right
^ Select Steam 3 and lower the
recommended temperature as shown
in the chart.
^
Select the duration (see chart) and
confirm your selection.
^
Make use of residual heat by leaving
the jars in the oven for 30 minutes
after it has switched off.
^
Cover the jars with a cloth and allow
to cool for approx. 24 hours.
