Este aparato se debe conectar a tierra. En caso de que el aparato

funcione defectuosamente o se averíe, la conexión a tierra proporcio-

na una vía de menor resistencia a la corriente eléctrica reduciendo

el riesgo de descarga eléctrica. Este aparato está equipado con un

cable que incluye un hilo conductor para conexión a tierra y una clavi-

ja de conexión a tierra. La clavija se debe enchufar en una toma de

corriente apropiada, que esté correctamente instalada y con conexión

a tierra conforme a todas las normativas y prácticas locales.

La conexión incorrecta del hilo conductor de tierra puede provocar

una descarga eléctrica. El hilo conductor con recubrimiento aislante

de color verde con o sin rayas amarillas es el conductor de tierra del

aparato. Si el cable o la clavija deben ser sustituidos o reparados, no

conecte el hilo conductor de tierra a la corriente eléctrica.

En caso de que no comprenda totalmente las instrucciones de con-

exión a tierra o tenga dudas sobre si el aparato está correctamente

conectado a tierra, consulte a un electricista cualificado o profesional

del servicio técnico. No modifique la clavija suministrada con el apara-

to — no podría enchufarla en la toma de corriente, la toma de corrien-

te debe haber sido instalada por un electricista cualificado.

Este aparato se debe utilizar con un circuito con tensión nominal 220-

240V, y conectar a una clavija con conexión a tierra similar a la de la

ilustración (A) . Un adaptador temporal, similar al que aparece en las

ilustraciones (B) si no dispone de una toma de corriente con conexión

a tierra. El adaptador temporal se debe utilizar sólo hasta que un elec-

tricista cualificado haya instalado una toma de corriente con conexión

a tierra. La oreja o tirador rígido de color verde, y similar, que sale del

adaptador, se debe conectar a una conexión a tierra permanente, por

ejemplo a la cubierta de una toma de corriente con conexión a tierra.

Cuando se utilice el adaptador, se debe sujetar correctamente con un

tornillo metálico.
