Caution! Too high volume can lead to permanent hearing damages. When you switch the device on,
make sure that the volume is set to minimum in order to avoid hearing damages and damages to the

PARTS
SET UP INSTRUCTIONS
Set up the device as far away as possible from computers and microwaves to avoid interferences with reception.
Only use this device indoors in a dry location.
Make sure there is enough room on the side and underneath the device for ventilation purposes, so that the warm air can
escape freely. In order to ensure for good sound quality, do not cover the speaker (12).
USING THE DEVICE
Backup battery: Slide the cover of the battery compartment (10) open, connect one 9V battery (type 6LR61, not
included) to the battery connector and set the battery into the battery compartment. Close the battery compartment
again and make sure the cover clicks into place.
The backup battery will maintain the time during a power failure. Please note that the battery is only intended to
maintain the time; all other functions will not work during a power failure.
The battery should be replaced at least once per year.
If this device will not be used over a longer period of time, remove the battery.
Connect the power plug to a power outlet. Make sure your power outlet has the correct power supply of 230V~50 Hz.
MOUNTING/INSTALLATION
The radio can be mounted underneath a kitchen cabinet or set upright using the integrated feet.
To mount it underneath a kitchen cabinet, fold the feet (13) in and secure the holder using three screws (holder and
screws provided with delivery) according to the following diagram.
