Rijden met uw auto
Parkeren op een helling
Als u een aanhanger achter de auto
hebt gekoppeld is het niet verstandig
om uw auto op een helling te
parkeren.
Is het niet anders mogelijk dan de
auto op een helling te parkeren, doe
dit dan als volgt:
1. Zet de auto op de parkeerplaats.
Draai het stuurwiel in de richting
van de stoeprand (rechtsom als u
parkeert op een aflopende helling,
linksom op een stijgende helling).
2. Zet de selectiehendel in stand P
(parkeren, automatische trans-
missie/Double clutchtransmissie)
of de vrijstand (handgeschakelde
transmissie).
3. Trek de parkeerrem aan en sluit
de auto af.
4. Plaats wielblokken onder de
wielen van de aanhanger aan de
lage zijde.
5. Start de auto, houd de rem
ingetrapt, schakel in de vrijstand,
zet de parkeerrem los en laat het
rempedaal langzaam opkomen tot
de blokken het gewicht van de
aanhanger tegenhouden.
6. Trap het rempedaal opnieuw in en
activeer de parkeerrem.
7. Zet de selectiehendel in stand P
(parkeren, automatische trans-
missie/Double clutchtransmissie)
of in de 1e versnelling (hand-
geschakelde transmissie) als de
auto met de voorzijde heuvelop
geparkeerd staat en in stand
P (parkeren, automatische
transmissie) of in stand
R (achteruit, handgeschakelde
transmissie) als de auto met de
voorzijde heuvelaf geparkeerd
staat.
8. Zet de motor af en laat het
rempedaal los, maar laat de
parkeerrem aangetrokken blijven.
Om ernstig letsel te voorkomen:
•Stap niet uit de auto zonder
dat de parkeerrem goed
geactiveerd is. Als u de motor
laat draaien, kan de auto
plotseling in beweging
komen. Uzelf en anderen
kunnen hierdoor ernstig letsel
oplopen.
•Houd de auto helling op niet
op zijn plaats door gas te
geven.
