COLD WEATHER STARTING (32°F/0°C and below)
1. Move throttle control (2) beyond fast position ( ) into the
cold weather starting position ( ).
2. Perform procedures outlined in "SmartSwitch IGNITION
UNLOCK" as previously described.
3. While the SSI button (C) is flashing green, press and release
the SSI button once more to start the engine.
• Once engine starts, move the throttle control back to the fast
position (
) to warm-up. The time required for warm-up
will vary from a few seconds to a minute depending upon
conditions and temperature.
• Leave throttle control in fast position (
) while mowing.
NOTE!
Failure to move throttle from cold weather starting position (
)
will result in poor engine performance and spark plug fouling.
KALTSTART (0°C/32°F und kälter)
1. Schieben Sie den Gashebel (2) über die Schnellfahrposition
( ) hinaus in die Kaltstartposition ( ).
2. Führen Sie die zuvor beschriebenen Prozeduren in Abschnitt
“SmartSwitch ZÜNDUNG ENTRIEGELN” durch.
3. Wenn die SSI Taste (C) grün blinkt, drücken Sie die SSI Taste
einmal und lassen sie sofort wieder los, um den Motor zu
starten.
• Sobald der Motor gestartet ist, ziehen Sie den Gashebel zurück in
die Schnellfahrposition (
) und lassen den Motor warm laufen.
Die nötige Warmlaufzeit schwankt zwischen ein paar Sekun-
den und einer Minute, je nach Bedingungen und Temperatur.
• Lassen den Gashebel beim Mähen in der Schnellfahrposition
(
).
HINWEIS!
Wird der Gashebel nicht aus der Kaltstartposition (
) bewegt,
so führt dies zu schlechter Motorleistung und zum Verrußen
der Zündkerzen.
DÉMARRAGE PAR TEMPS FROID (0 °C et moins)
1. Déplacer la commande des gaz (2) de la position rapide ( )
à la position de démarrage par temps froid ( ).
2. Suivre les procédures décrites précédemment dans la section
« DÉVERROUILLAGE DE L’ALLUMAGE SmartSwitch ».
3. Lorsque le bouton SSI (C) clignote en vert, appuyer et relâcher
le bouton SSI une autre fois pour démarrer le moteur.
• Lorsque le moteur démarre, replacer la commande des gaz
en position rapide (
) pour permettre au moteur de monter
en température. Le temps nécessaire pour la montée en
température varie de quelques secondes à une minute, en
fonction des conditions et de la température.
• Laisser la commande des gaz en position rapide ( ) pendant
la tonte.
REMARQUE:
Si la commande des gaz est laissée en position de démarrage
par temps froid (
), cela nuira au bon fonctionnement du
moteur et provoquera l’encrassement des bougies.

ARRANQUE EN CLIMA FRÍO (0 °C /32 °F e inferior)
1. Desplace el control del acelerador (2) superando la posición
rápida ( ) y sitúelo en la posición de arranque en clima
frío ( ).
2. Siga los procedimientos indicados en “DESBLOQUEO DEL
ARRANQUE CON SmartSwitch”.
3. Cuando el botón SSI (C) parpadee en verde, pulse y suelte
el botón SSI una vez más para arrancar el motor.
• Cuando arranque, vuelva a situar el control del acelerador
en la posición rápida (
) para calentar el motor. El tiempo
necesario para el calentamiento varía entre unos pocos
segundos y un minuto, dependiendo de las condiciones y
de la temperatura.
• Deje el control del acelerador en la posición rápida (
)
mientras corta el césped.
NOTA
Si el acelerador no se retira de la posición de arranque en
clima frío (
) el motor tendrá un bajo rendimiento y la bujía
no funcionará bien.
AVVIAMENTO PER CLIMA FREDDO (0 °C/32 °F e
inferiori)
1. Portare il comando acceleratore (2) oltre la posizione veloce
( ), nella posizione di avviamento per clima freddo ( ).
2. Eseguire le procedure descritte in precedenza nella sezione
“SBLOCCO ACCENSIONE SmartSwitch”.
3. Mentre sul pulsante SSI (C) lampeggia la spia verde, premere
e rilasciare il pulsante SSI un’altra volta per avviare il motore.
• Quando il motore si accende, spostare il comando accelera-
tore di nuovo nella posizione veloce (
) per far scaldare il
motore. Il tempo necessario per far scaldare il motore varia
da pochi secondi a un minuto, in base alle condizioni e alla
temperatura.
• Durante le operazioni di falciatura lasciare il comando ac-
celeratore nella posizione veloce (
).
NOTA!
Se il comando acceleratore viene dimenticato nella precedente
posizione di avviamento per clima freddo (
), le prestazioni
del motore non saranno ottimali, con il rischio di sporcare la
candela.
STARTEN BIJ KOUDE WEERSOMSTANDIGHEDEN
(32°F/0°C en lager)
1. Zet de gashendel (2) voorbij de snelle stand ( ) in de stand
starten bij koude weersomstandigheden ( ).
2. Voer de procedures in “DE SmartSwitch-ONTSTEKING
ONTGRENDELEN” uit zoals eerder beschreven.
3. Druk terwijl de SSI-toets (C) groen knippert nogmaals op de
SSI-toets en laat hem los om de motor te starten.
• Zodra de motor gestart is, zet u de gashendel terug naar de
snelle stand (
) om de motor op te warmen. De tijd die
nodig is om de motor op te warmen kan variëren van enkele
seconden tot een minuut, afhankelijk van de omstandigheden
en de temperatuur.
• Laat de gashendel in de snelle stand (
) staan terwijl u
rijdt.
OPMERKING
Als u de gashendel in de stand starten bij koude weersomstan-
digheden (
) laat staan, leidt dit tot slechte motorprestaties
en storing in de bougie.
