PURGE TRANSMISSION

To ensure proper operation and performance, it is rec om mend ed

that the transmission be purged before op er at ing tractor for the

first time. This pro ce dure will remove any trapped air inside

the trans mis sion which may have de vel oped during ship ping

of your tractor.

IMPORTANT: SHOULD YOUR TRANSMISSION RE QUIRE

REMOVAL FOR SERVICE OR RE PLACE MENT, IT SHOULD

BE PURGED AF TER REIN STALLATION BEFORE OP ER AT-

ING THE TRAC TOR.

• Park tractor on level surface so it will not roll in any direc-

tion. Parking brake must be disengaged for the following

procedure.

• Disengage transmission by placing freewheel con trol in

free wheel ing position.

• Start engine and move throttle control to slow position. Be

sure parking brake is not engaged.

• Depress forward drive pedal to full forward position, hold

for five (5) seconds and release pedal. Depress reverse

drive pedal to full reverse position, hold for five (5) seconds

and release pedal. Repeat this procedure three (3) times.

• Stop tractor by turning ignition key to "OFF" po si tion.

• Engage transmission by placing freewheel control in driving

po si tion.

• Start engine and move throttle control to slow position.

• Drive tractor forward for approximately five feet then back-

wards for five feet. Repeat this driving procedure three times.

• Your tractor is now ready for normal operation.

ENTLÜFTEN DES GETRIEBES

Um vorschriftsmäßigen Betrieb und einwandfreie Leistungs-

fähigkeit des Getriebes zu gewährleisten, sollte dieses vor

der ersten Inbetriebnahme des Traktors entlüftet werden. Auf

diese Weise wird sichergestellt, daß sämtliche Luftblasen, die

sich während des Transports des Traktors im Getriebe gebildet

haben könnten, entfernt werden.

WICHTIG: FALLS DAS GETRIEBE FÜR ETWAIGE WARTUNG-

SARBEITEN ODER ZUM ERSATZ AUSGEBAUT WERDEN

MUSS, SOLLTE ES NACH DEM WIEDEREINBAU IM TRAK-

TOR ENTLÜFTET WERDEN, BEVOR DIESER IN BETRIEB

GENOMMEN WIRD.

• Den Traktor auf ebenem Boden abstellen und sicherstellen,

daß er nicht ins Rollen kommen kann. Für diesen Vorgang

kann die Feststellbremse nicht eingelegt werden.

• Das Getriebe auskuppeln, indem die Freilauf-Schaltung auf

Freilauf geschaltet wird.

• Den Motor anlassen und die Gasbedienung auf langsamen

Leerlauf stellen. Sicherstellen, daß die Feststellbremse nicht

eingelegt ist.

• Drücken Sie das Fahrpedal für Vorwärts ganz nach vorn und

halten Sie diese Position fünf (5) Sekunden lang. Lassen

Sie das Pedal danach los. Drücken Sie das Fahrpedal für

Rückwärts ganz in die Rückwärtsposition und halten Sie

diese Position fünf (5) Sekunden lang. Lassen Sie das Pedal

danach los. Wiederholen Sie diesen Vorgang drei (3) Mal.

• Den Traktor abstellen, indem der Zündschlüssel in die “AUS”

(OFF) Stellung gedreht wird.

• Die Freilauf-Schaltung in die Fahrtstellung rücken, um das

Getriebe einzukuppeln.

• Den Motor anlassen und die Gasbedienung auf langsamen

Leerlauf stellen.

• Den Traktor etwa 1,50 m (5 ft) weit nach vorne fahren und

dann um etwa 1,50 m (5 ft) zurücksetzen. Dieses Verfahren

dreimal wiederholen.

• Der Traktor ist jetzt normal betriebsbereit.

PURGE DE LA TRANSMISSION

Pour assurer un fonctionnement et un rendement corrects, il est

recommandé de purger la transmission avant d'utiliser le tracteur

pour la première fois. Cette opération supprimera l'air emprison-

né à l'intérieur de la trans mis sion pendant le trans port du tracteur.

ATTENTION! SI LA TRANSMISSION A ETE DE POSE POUR

SON ENTRETIEN OU SON REMPLACEMENT, ELLE DEVRA

ETRE PURGEE APRES SON REMONTAGE ET AVANT RE-

UTILISATION DU TRACTEUR.

• Placer le tracteur sur une surface plane afin qu'il ne puisse

pas rouler dans aucune direction. Le frein de stationnement

doit être desserré pour effectuer les opérations suivantes.

• Débrayer la transmission en plaçant la commande de roue

libre sur sa position de marche en roue libre (Se référer à

la section "TRANSPORT" de ce livret).

• Démarrer le moteur et mettre la commande des gaz en position de

ralenti. S'assurer que le frein de stationnement n'est pas serré.

• Appuyez à fond sur la pédale de marche avant, maintenez-la

dans cette position pendant cinq (5) secondes et relâchez-la

ensuite. Appuyez à fond sur la pédale de marche arrière, main-

tenez-la dans cette position pendant cinq (5) secondes et relâ-

chez-la ensuite. Répétez ces opérations trois (3) fois de suite.

• Arrêter le moteur du tracteur en amenant la clé de contact

sur sa position d'arrêt (OFF).

• Embrayer à nouveau la transmission en replaçant la com-

mande de roue libre dans sa position "embrayée" (Voir

section "TRANSPORT de ce manuel).

• Redémarrer le moteur et placer la commande des gaz en

position de ralenti.

• Faire avancer le tracteur de 1 à 2 mètres en marche avant,

puis de la même distance en marche arière. Répéter cette

opération 3 fois de suite.

• Le tracteur est maintenant prêt pour une utilisation normale.

PURGAR LA TRANSMISIÓN

Para asegurar la operación y ejecución adecuada, es reco-

mendado que la transmisión sea purgada antes de operar el

tractor para la primera vez. Este proceso removerá cualquier

aire adentro de la transmisión que se halla formado durante el

transporte de su tractor.

IMPORTANTE: SI POR ACASO SU TRANSMISIÓN DEBE

SER REMOVIDA PARA SERVICIO O REEMPLAZO, DEBE

SER PURGADA DESPUÉS DE LA REINSTALACION Y ANTES

DE OPERAR EL TRACTOR.

• Estacione el tractor con seguridad sobre una superficie

nivelada para que no ruede en ninguna dirección. El freno

de estacionamiento debe estar desenganchado para el

procedimiento siguiente.

• Desenganche la transmisión poniendo el control de rueda

libre en la posición de rueda libre (Vea “PARA EL TRANS-

PORTE” en esta sección de este manual).

• Arranque el motor y mueva el control de la aceleración a

la posición de lento. Asegúrese que el freno de estaciona-

miento no este enganchado.

• Apretar el pedal de marcha adelante hasta el fondo, mantener

por cinco (5) segundos y soltar el pedal. Apretar el pedal de

marcha atrás hasta el fondo, mantener por cinco (5) segun-

dos y soltar el pedal. Repetir el procedimiento tres (3) veces.

• Pare el tractor girando la llave de encendido a la posición

de apagado “OFF”.

• Enganche la transmisión poniendo el control de rueda libre

en la posición de conducir (Vea “PARA EL TRANSPORTE”

en esta sección de este manual).

• Arranque el motor y mueva el control de la aceleración a

la posición de lento.

• Conduzca su tractor hacia adelante durante aproximada-

mente cinco pies y entonces hacia marcha atrás cinco pies

(150 cm). Repita este proceso tres (3) veces.

• Su tractor esta ahora dispuesto para la operación nor mal.
