To put the cutting deck in mow
position
1. Hold the front edge of the cutting deck with your left
hand.
2. Loosen the lock with your right hand.
3. Fold down the cutting deck and push it in until it
stops.
4. Lift the cutting height stay (A) from the stay holder
and put it in the hole.

5. Put the drive belt (B) in its position.
Note:
Information about the position of the drive belt
is found on the inner surface of the cutting deck
cover.
6. Put the tension spring (C) back in its position to
apply tension to the drive belt.
7. Attach the front cover.
8. Move the cutting height lever from the servicing
position to one of the positions with a number.
To examine and adjust the ground
pressure from the cutting deck
A correct ground pressure makes sure that the cutting
deck moves along the surface but does not press too
hard against it.
1. Make sure that the air pressure in the tires is 60 kPa
(0.6 bar / 9.0 PSI).
2. Park the product on a level surface.
3. Lower the cutting deck to mow position.
4. Put a bathroom scale below the front edge of the
cutting deck.
5. To make sure that no weight is applied on the
support wheels, put a wooden block between the
frame and the bathroom scale.
6. To adjust the ground pressure, turn the adjustment
screws found behind the front wheels on the right
and left sides.
7. Turn the screws right or left until the ground pressure
is between 12 and 15 kg (26.5-33 lb).
To do a check of the parallelism of
the cutting deck
1. Make sure that the air pressure in the tires is 60 kPa
(0.6 bar / 9.0 PSI).
2. Park the product on a level surface.
3. Lower the cutting deck to mow position.
4. Set the cutting height lever to the middle position.
