  • My Viking 500 is not letting me adjust the length of the straight stitch. I have tried changing the pressure of the foot feed with no result still only does the tiny stitches. I can select any decorative stitch and it will still perform with the tiny stitch . I have chosen length 3,4,5 6 and still it does not get longer, just a tiny straight stitch with good tension Submitted on 31-7-2023 at 19:56

    • Check the tension on the bobbin case. When treading the machine make sure the needle position is at it highest to allow the tension to open where the tread travels through. Answered on 31-7-2023 at 20:36
