Congratulations on purchasing your acou-
stic RF receiver. We hope it will provide you
with many years of service. You have cho-
sen a modern and reliable system.
Please read through these operating inst-
ruction carefully to be able to start the unit
correctly and to familiarise yourself with all
of the systems features.
Standard components
Please check if all following components are
included:
- Acoustic RF receiver
- 9 V plug-in PSU
- Operating Instructions
- Warranty card
If any parts are missing please immediate-
ly contact your dealer or the manufacturer
directly.
Functional principle
The acoustic RF receiver picks up signals
from different radio transmitters and con-
verts them into acoustic signals.
In addition, 6 indicator lamps help you to dif-
ferent identify signals.
Controls
Battery/Dead battery
If the »Battery/Dead batterindicator lights
up constantly, this means that the battery or
rechargeable battery used is almost fully
discharged. A regular battery must be re-
placed or a rechargeable battery recharged.
The »Dead battery« indicator might flash
briefly in the flashing mode; this does not
indicate that the battery is low.
Indicator lamps
The 6 indicator lamps help you to differenti-
ate between the individual transmitter sig-
nals. They light for a total of 40 seconds.
lisa-Channel selector
You can select the radio channel using the
channel selector.
ON-/OFF switch
Set the on/off switch to »ON«. The acoustic
RF receiver is now ready to operate. After the
unit has been switched on, each of the indi-
cator lamps lights up briefly in succession.
This forms part of a self-test of the unit and
lets you know that it is functioning correctly.
OK button
Press the OK button to acknowledge inco-
ming signals. This will switch off the acou-
stic signal. The indicator lamps light and go
out automatically after a total of 40 seconds.
Furthermore, you can press the OK button
to call up the most recent signal again (the
function works for up to 3 minutes after re-
ceipt of the signal).
The acoustic signal will not be repeated.
Setting of the volume
Volume: continuously adjustable
(max. 100 dB)
Note (special accessory)
Vibrating pillow or other modules:
- Flash module MF-1
- Switch module MS-1
can be connected to the corresponding
jacks of the acoustic RF receiver.
The following audio devices can be connec-
ted to the 3.5 mm audio out jack:
• Infrared transmission systems
• Radio transmission systems
• Induction loop transmission systems
• Hi- systems or active speaker systems
