Warning: The Transmitter is only

designed to work with low vol-

tage doorbells. Do not connect

the thin doorbell cable to the

mains supply. This could be

extremely dangerous for the user

and may destroy the transmitter.

Cable for doorbell connection

A-2950-0 ( 5 m)

A-2951-0 (10 m)

The doorbell voltage must be at

least 3 Volts and must not exceed

15 Volts. Both AC and DC can be

used.

Pressing your respective doorbell

will now cause each receiver to

flash with the corresponding number

of flashes. The receiver will flash

differently for doorbell 1 and door-

bell 2.

Note: For the connection of 2 door-

bells, two cables are necessary.

Failure causes

- If your doorbell system uses direct

current voltage, you have not con-

nected the wires with the correct

polarity. Swap over the wires.

- The doorbell voltage of your

system is too low. Either contact

an electrician to have the door-

bell system converted or use the

doorbell transmitter - acoustic.

Plug the doorbell microphone lead

into the respective socket at the

universal-lisa.

Lay the cable to the

door chime and attach the micropho-

ne to the door chime by peeling off

the paper circle to reveal the sticky

ring beneath. For optimal operation

of the transmitter the sensitivity

may be adjusted so that only the

doorbell activates the transmitter

and not background noise.

Setting the sensitivity

1. Set the sensitivity controller to its

lowest level (turn to the anti-

clockwise to stop).

2. Activate the doorbell and gradu-

ally increase the sensitivity of the

transmitter (by turning the dial

clockwise) until the transmitter

reacts to the doorbell.

3. If your intercom system operates

with different signal tones, make

sure that both signal tones are

reliably detected.
