The
universal-lisa
combines
transmitter (door bell, telephone,
alarm, person call) and receiver
(flash lamp) in one housing.
System introduction
An alerting system requires at least
one transmitter and a receiver. The
transmitter captures sound signals
and transforms them into digital sig-
nals that are passed to the build-in
receiver. The receiver then trans-
forms these digital signals into light
signals.
Channel selection
A digital transmission system ensu-
res the correct recognition of each
of the digital signals from each
transmitter. The system has 10 diffe-
rent selectable channels, 0-9. The
factory setting for all
lisa
devices is
channel 0. Only where more than
one installation is required in the
same building will it be necessary to
select a different channel for each
system.
To select a channel, turn the rotary
switch on the underside of the
transmitter to the required channel
number using a small screwdriver.
All transmitters and receivers must
be set to the same channel.
Example:
channel
setting 0
Personal Call button
Pressing this button causes a certain
flash sequence. It is possible to call
people in other rooms this way. This
button also allows the
lisa
system to
be tested without any connecting
cables.
Duration of flashing signals
The factory setting for the duration
of the flash is 28 seconds for all
lisa
receivers. However, you can reduce
this to 8 seconds if you wish.
