transmitter. Lay the cable to the
door chime and attach the micropho-
ne to the door chime by peeling off
the paper circle to reveal the sticky
ring beneath.
For optimal operation of the trans-
mitter the sensitivity may be adju-
sted so that only the doorbell activa-
tes the transmitter and not bak-
kground noise.
Setting the sensitivity
1. Set the sensitivity controller to its
lowest level (turn to the anticlockwi-
se to stop)
2. Activate the doorbell and gradual-
ly increase the sensitivity of the
transmitter (by turning the dial clok-
kwise) until the transmitter reacts to
the doorbell.
3. If your intercom system operates
with different signal tones, make
sure that both signal tones are relia-
bly detected.
Telephone connection
Plug the microphone cable into the
socket marked at the underside of
the transmitter. Lay the cable to the
telephone. Peel off the paper circle
on the microphone to reveal the
sticky ring beneath. Attach the
microphone to the area of the tele-
phone where the ringer is situated.
Adjust the volume of the ringer so
that the transmitter reacts to the
ringing.
Note: If the telephone handset is
replaced too harshly it may activate
the telephone transmitter.
Important note
All lisa devices connected to the
mains supply have a low power con-
sumption which may lead to the
device feeling warm. This is normal
and does not interfere with the nor-
mal function of the devices.
These signalling systems have a
high operational safety. Should any
faults occur in spite of proper instal-
lation and use, please contact your
dealer.
High and low voltage spikes (e.g.
during a thunderstorm) can occur on
the mains supply. The lisa devices
have an integrated electronic con-
troller which may stop working after
these conditions. If this happens
simply unplug each of the devices
and plug them in again.
As a precaution remove all devi-
ces from their sockets during a
thunderstorm.
The use of halogen lamps or other
equipment (e.g. Microwave Ovens)
may, in rare cases, interfere with
the lisa signals. In these cases the
use of mains filters or suppressors
is advisable. Please ask your dealer.
Maintenance and care
All lisa devices are maintenance
free. To clean, remove from their
mains sockets and wipe over with a
