WIreleSS remote control panel
(GRANDEE & ENVOY models only)
WIRELESS REMOTE CONTROL
OPERATING YOUR REMOTE
The HOT SPRING Wireless Control
Panel features a full color LCD
touchscreen to operate all spa
functions and features, wireless
communication to the control system,
and wireless charging via the bartop
docking tray.
The wireless remote control panel should be placed in the docking
tray when not in use.
Remote control can be placed into docking tray facing either direction.
Maximum recommended operable distance between remote and
dock is 30 feet. Any obstructions between remote and dock may
prevent the remote from communicating, including through the spa
water.
A convenience tray on the bartop is available as a secondary
placement location while spa is in use. The remote should always
be returned to the docking tray before placing cover over your spa.
BATTERY
For best battery performance, place the wireless remote back in the
charging dock when not in use. When not in dock, even in sleep mode,
the battery will consume power.
If battery is depleted, return remote control to the dock for immediate
recharging.
When returned to the dock, all spa functions will be operable but the
remote should remain in the dock until fully charged. Under normal
conditions a fully drained battery will take 6-8 hours to recharge.
Contact your authorized HOT SPRING Dealer for replacement of your
Lithium Ion battery.
CARE OF YOUR REMOTE:
Use only a clean microfiber cloth and water to clean your LCD screen.
Abrasive cloths, towels, paper towels, and similar items may cause
damage to the remote screen. Don't use around aerosol sprays, solvents,
or abrasives.
WIRELESS REMOTE DISPLAY TIME OUTS:
The remote screen will dim after 1 minute and sleep after 5 minutes.
* Remote will only shut down if it is NOT in the docking station for 24
hours. To restart, press the touchscreen and wait for 40 seconds as
remote re-boots and loads screens.
HOME SCREEN
The Home screen is the default screen. The temperature displayed inside
the Home screen is the actual temperature of the spa water.

VERY IMPORTANT: Your wireless remote is a high tech device
designed for use in your spa, handle accordingly!
The wireless remote control (IP67 rated) is immersible and
floatable if it is inadvertently dropped into the spa water.
Never immerse or float remote in the spa for any extended period
of time.
Do not allow remote to float inside filter area. Extreme turbulence
and impact can render the remote permanently inoperable.
Dropping the remote on any hard surface may break the screen
rendering the remote permanently inoperable. Physical abuse is
not covered under warranty.
Remote control will NOT communicate to spa dock if underwater.
Remote should NOT be docked or stored in ambient temperature
ranges outside of -20º F to +122º F (-30º C to +50º C).
Radio environments will vary and may occasionally lose
connection between remote and spa. This is normal and should
self-correct within a few seconds. If loss of communication
persists, consult Troubleshooting section.
Do not leave remote exposed to direct sunlight for long periods of
time, as solar heat could cause issues with the touch screen.
