MAINTENANCE
CARBURETTOR ADJUSTMENT
1. Start the engine in the open air and allow it to reach its normal operating
temperature.
2. Place the throttle control lever in “SLOW” position .
3. Screw the pilot screw [1] in or out until you reach the highest idle speed. Generally, the correct
setting is found 2 turns out from the fully in position.
4. When the pilot screw is correctly adjusted, turn the throttle stop screw [2] to obtain the
specified idle speed:
HRD535 : 2 100 ± 150 tr/mn HRA536 - HRD536 - HRH536 : 1700 ± 150 tr/mn
ROTOSTOP SAFETY LEVER CLEARANCE
Measure the clearance [3] at the top of the lever [5] by holding the yellow button [4] pressed in.
It must be between 20 and 30 mm (HRD535 - HRD536), 5 and 10 mm (HRA536 - HRH536).
If necessary:
1. Undo the lock nuts [6] with a 10 mm spanner.
2. Move the nuts [6] up or down as necessary.
3. Retighten the lock nuts [6] and recheck the clearance.
4. Start the engine outdoors and engage the blade clutch lever. Check that the blade starts to
rotate when you pull the lever to the rear, and that it stops rapidly when the lever is released.
If the blade does not start to rotate or stop as it should, even when the cable is correctly
adjusted, the system may need to be repaired. Take the mower to an approved HONDA
dealer.

1. Mettre le moteur en route à l’extérieur et attendre qu’il atteigne sa
température normale de fonctionnement.
2. Placer la manette de commande des gaz en position “LENT” .
3. Tourner la vis pilote [1] vers l’intérieur ou vers l’extérieur jusqu’au réglage qui produit la
rotation au ralenti la plus élevée. Le plus souvent, le réglage correct est d’environ 2 tours
vers l’extérieur à partir de la position fermée complète.
4. Après avoir réglé correctement la vis pilote, tourner la vis d’arrêt des gaz [2] pour obtenir la
vitesse de ralenti normale :
HRD535 : 2100 ± 150 tr/mn HRA536 - HRD536 - HRH536 : 1700 ± 150 tr/mn
JEU AU LEVIER DE SÉCURITÉ ROTOSTOP
Mesurer le jeu [3] au sommet du levier [5] en maintenant le bouton jaune [4] enfoncé. Le jeu doit
être compris entre 20 et 30 mm (HRD535 - HRD536), 5 et 10 mm (HRA536 - HRH536).
Le cas échéant :
1. Desserrer les écrous de blocage [6] avec une clé de 10 mm.
2. Déplacer les écrous [6] vers le haut ou vers le bas suivant nécessité.
3. Resserrer les écrous [6] et revérifier le jeu.
4. Démarrer le moteur à l’extérieur et engager le levier d’embrayage de lame. Vérifier que la lame
se mette en route lorsque vous poussez le levier et s’arrête rapidement lorsque vous le relâchez.
Si la lame ne se met pas en route ou ne s’arrête pas comme elle le devrait alors que le réglage
du câble est correct, il est possible qu’une réparation soit nécessaire. Consulter un
concessionnaire agréé HONDA.
