5.4 USODELAMÁQUINA
5.4.1 Arranque
Lasoperacionesdearranquesedebenefectuaral
airelibreoenunlugarbienventilado!¡RECORDARSIEMPREQUE
LOSGASESDEESCAPEDELMOTORSONTÓXICOS!
A
ntesdearrancarelmotor:
– engranarelfrenodeestacionamiento( 4.5),enterrenospendientes;
– accionarlatransmisiónenpuntomuerto(«N»)( 4.22o4.32/33);
– desacoplarlascuchillas( 4.8);
– enelcasodearranqueenfrío,accionarelcebador( 4.2);
– ponerlapalanca delacelerador( 4.3)entre «LENTO»y«RÁPIDO»;
– ponerlallave( 4.4),girarlaalaposición«MARCHA»paraconectarel
circuitoeléctricoyluegollevarlaalaposición«ARRANQUE»paraarran-
carelmotor;
– soltarlallavedespuésdelapuestaenmarcha.
Despuésdelapuestaenmarchadelmotor,llevarelaceleradoralaposición
«LENTO»ydesconectarelcebadorsisehubieraactivado.
El cebador debe ser desconectado apenas el motor
gire regularmente.Su empleoconelmotor ya caliente puedeensuciar la
bujía ycausarun funcionamientoirregular delmotor.
En caso de arranque dificultoso, no insistir durante
mucho tiempocon el motorde arranque para evitar quesedescargue la
bateríaypara queel motorno seahogue.Poner de nuevo la llave en lapo-
sición «PARADA», esperaralgunossegundos y repetir laoperación.Si el
inconveniente persiste,consultar elcapítulo«8» delpresente manual.
Tener siempre presenteque losdispositivos desegu-
ridad impidenel arranque delmotor cuando:
– llascuchillasestán acopladas;
– latransmisión noestáen punto muerto(N);
– el operador está ausente con el freno de estacionamiento desengra-
nado.
En estos casos,despuésde restablecerla habilitaciónal arranque, esne-
cesario llevarnuevamente la llave ala «PARADA» antes de volver aarran-
car elmotor.
5.4.2 Marchadeavanceydesplazamientos
La máquina no está homologada para circular
porcallespúblicas.Suempleo(segúnloestablecidoenelCódigo
deCirculación)estápermitidoexclusivamenteenáreasprivadasce-
rradasaltránsito.
Durante losdesplazamientos, lascuchillas debenes-
tardesacopladasy elplatode cortese debeponeren laposiciónde al-
tura máxima(posición «7»).
Poner el mando del acelerador en una posición intermedia entre
«LENTO»y«RÁPIDO»,ylapalancadelcambioenlaposicióndela1ª
marcha( 4.22).
Manteniendoapretadoelpedalquitarelfrenodeestacionamiento;sol-
targradualmenteelpedalque,deesemodo,pasadelafunción«freno»
alade«embrague»,accionandolasruedasposteriores( 4.21).

Existendostiposdemezcla gasolina/alcohol:unoque contienealcohol
etílico y el otro que contiene alcohol metílico. No utilizar mezclas que
contenganmásdel 10%dealcoholetílico,nigasolinaquecontengaal-
coholmetílico(metiloo alcoholdemadera),queno contengacosolven-
t
es niinhibidores decorrosiónpara elalcohol metílico.
En casode mezcla conalcohol metílicoconadiciónde cosolventes ein-
hibidores decorrosión, limitarla proporciónal 5% de alcoholmetílico.
Lagarantíano cubrelos dañoscausadosal circuito de gasolina nilos pro-
blemasde rendimiento delmotor resultantedel empleode gasolinaque
contengaalcohol.Hondano apruebael uso decarburantesqueconten-
gan alcohol metílico siempre ycuando su carácter apropiado aún noesté
demostrado.

.3.4 Controldelsistemadefrenos
Comprobarquelacapacidaddefrenadodelamáquinaseaadecuadaalas
condicionesdefuncionamiento,evitandocomenzareltrabajoencasodedu-
dassobrelaeficienciadelsistemadefrenos.Siesnecesario,regularelfreno
( 6.3.4) y en caso de dudas sobre su eficiencia,consultarasuConce-
sionario.
5.3.5 Montajede lasproteccionesalasalida
(bolsaderecolecciónopantalladeprotección)
No utilizar jamás la máquina sin haber montado
lasproteccionesalasalida!
Elmontajedelasproteccionesserealizabajandolaspalancasdevuelco.
Engancharlabolsaderecolecciónintroduciendoeltubosuperiordelbasti-
dorenlosorificiosdelosdossoportes(1).
Para centrar correctamente la bolsa, alinee
losdossímbolosindicadosenlabolsayenla
placaposterior.
Asegurarsedequeeltuboinferiordelaboca
delabolsasefijeeneldispositivodeengan-
che(2). Encasodeenganchedificultosoode-
masiado flojo, regular el resorte de retorno
( 6.3.6).
Encasodequesedeseetrabajarsinlabolsa
derecolección,estádisponible,bajopedido,
unkitpantalla deprotección( 9.2)quese
debefijarenlaplanchaposteriorcomosein-
dicaenlasrelativasinstrucciones.
5.3.6 Controldelaeficienciadelossistemasde seguridad
Comprobarlaeficaciadelossistemasdeseguridadsimulandolascondi-
ciones operativas arriba especificadas ( 5.2) y controlando que para
cadacondiciónseobtengaelefectoindicado.
5.3.7 Controldelascuchillas
Controlarquelascuchillasesténbienafiladasyfirmementefijadasenlosres-
pectivoscubos.
– Unacuchillamalafiladaarrancaelcéspedycausaunamarilleodelprado.
– Unacuchilla flojaproducevibracionesanómalasypuede ser peligrosa.
