3. THE DEGREE OF HUMIDITY.
High air humidity percentages as experienced during the hottest weeks of the year, soon
produce a feeling of suffocating heat. Your air conditioner draws a lot of moisture from your environment
and conveys it outside the room via the exhaust tube. An ingenious system ensures that the moisture can be
immediately “re-evaporated” and removed. You do not have to empty the water tank every few hours, and
your air conditioner will not have to shutdown quickly because your water tank is full. It is only on extreme-
ly humid days that the air humidity is so high that all the water cannot be re-evaporated simultaneously.
4. THE PURITY OF THE AIR
A specially developed air filter ensures that the dust is removed form the air. The atmosphere in your room
will thereby become cleaner.
5. THE AIR STREAM.
With your air conditioner, the quantity of air that comes in is controlled and the direction of the air stream
can also be determined. Your air conditioner therefore contributes to achieving optimum air circulation: The
air is therefore distributed without creating drafts and without an oppressive/sultry atmosphere, since tem-
perature differences within the room (hot and cold zones) are avoided.
PLACEMENT OF THE AIR CONDITIONER:
The air conditioner should always be placed on a level surface in the vertical position.
There must be at least 50 cm on the front side. There must be room available to allow free circulation of air.
Ensure that the air inlet and outlet are free of blockages.
An opening in the wall or window will be required to remove the hot air and condensate via the hose provided.
Always ensure that there is sufficient distance between you and the equipment to ensure that you are not
exposed to a draft.
THE INSTALLATION:
Installation is very simple and you can easily do it yourself. This air conditioner is suitable for both perma-
nent as well as temporary installation.
Carefully open the packing and check whether all the components are present. (See page 2)
Check the placement of the air filter. (This is located on the back of the equipment).
Place the air conditioner in the intended place and connect exhaust tube provided.
Install the exhaust tube at the back of the equipment.
Ensure that the air to be removed can go out, by passing the flat nozzle through a gap in the door or window.
Wait for 6 hours to give the refrigerant time to stabilise.
Insert the plug in the earthed socket outlet. You air conditioner is now ready to operate
OPERATION:
Timer button:
Cont. This indicates that the timer is off. The numbers indicate one hour in each case. If the
equipment is in operation and you place the button in the position 6, the equipment will switch-off after six
hours. If the equipment is not in operation and you place the button in position 6, the equipment will start
operating after six hours.
Function button: With this button, you can control the ventilation positions and the cooling positions. It is
therefore possible to allow the equipment to run only in ventilation mode. Optionally: Depending on the
type, it is possible to only dehumidify the air.
Ventilation (FAN) In this mode of operation, your air conditioner will be used as a ventilator without air
conditioning being required. The equipment contributes to the efficient filtration and better distribution of
the air. The ventilation speed can be set by placing the centre button in the desired speed position (a total
of 3 speeds are possible).
Cooling (COOL) After switching over to the air conditioning mode of operation, the equipment shall oper-
ate according to the last selected settings. The operation is simple and efficient.
Thermostat button: With this, you can make the selection you want within the working temperature appli-
cable to your air conditioner. (See Technical Data)
