Cleaning and Care
PLEASE NOTE!
• Empty the dust container when it is full up to the MAX marking, and regularly clean all
fi lters to prevent the motor from overheating.
• Do not clean the HEPA fi lters with water!
• Do not use any toxic, corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents or scouring sponges to
clean the device. These can damage the surface.
The fi lters may lose some of their colour over time. This is normal and does not have any
adverse effect on function.
Emptying the Dust Container
1. Press the release button of the dust container and pull it out of the device by the handle.
2. Press the fastening tab (B) on the dust container lid and pull the dust container lid upwards
(see Picture E).
3. Empty out the dust container over a dustbin.
4. Clean the dust container regularly with a damp cloth and then dry it thoroughly.
5. Insert the dust container lid into the locking lugs on the front of the dust container and then
press it down. The fastening tab must be heard to engage in place.
Inserting the Dust Container into the Device
1. Grip the dust container by the handle and insert into the device.
2. Press the handle down until the dust container is heard to lock in place.
3. Lift up the device by the dust container handle to check whether the dust container is in the
correct position.
Cleaning the Motor Filter
The device has a motor fi lter which fi ts on the dust container.
1. Remove the dust container from the device and empty it (see “Emptying the Dust Container”).
2. Pull on the tab (C) and remove the HEPA motor fi lter (see Picture F).
3. Tap out the HEPA motor fi lter and brush off loose dirt.
4. Reinsert the HEPA motor fi lter and press down fi rmly.
5. Insert the dust container into the device (see “Inserting the Dust Container into the Device”).
