4. Acerca del protector térmico
Este ítem no será necesario si su compresor no
dispone del interruptor de reposición del protector
térmico mostrado en la Fig. 6.
El protector térmico funciona para parar cuando
ocurra algún problema, como sobrecarga del motor,
etc. Si el motor se para durante la operación, realice lo
siguiente.
(1) Ponga la perilla del interruptor de presión en la
posición OFF (Fig. 1) y desconecte el enchufe del
tomacorriente.
(2) Si el cable prolongador no cumple las
especificaciones ofrecidas en la página 26,
reemplácelo por otro como el mostrado en la
página 26. Si la capacidad de la fuente de
alimentación es insuficiente, auméntela para
eliminar la causa de un flujo excesivo de corriente
(sobrecorriente).
(3) Espere aproximadamente 5 minutos, y después
presione el interruptor de reposición del protector
térmico (Fig. 6).
(4) Ponga la herramienta en marcha. Si el motor se
para durante la operación, póngase en contacto
con un centro de reparaciones.

ADVERTENCIA:
Antes de realizar las
operaciones de mantenimiento,
desconecte el compresor de la
fuente de alimentación y vacíe
el aire comprimido del depósito
de aire.
1. Limpieza del filtro de entrada
Quite el filtro de entrada (consulte la Fig. 1) cada 50
horas, o una vez a la semana, y limpie el interior del
mismo y de su elemento con aire comprimido (Fig. 7).
Utilice un destornillador Philips para desmontar el
filtro de entrada de los modelos EC6B, EC6C, y EC12.
Utilice una llave Allen para desmontar el filtro del
modelo EC16.
ADVERTENCIA: No limpie nunca el elemento
del filtro con un líquido
inflamable ni con disolvente.

3. Cierre
(1) Gire el mando del disyuntor neumático hasta la
posición “OFF” (Fig. 1).
(2) Desconecte el enchufe del tomacorriente.
(3) Abra el grifo de drenaje situado en la parte
inferior del depósito (Fig. 5).
