RECORDING WITHOUT AUTOMATIC STOP
• Press button to power on the recorder.
• Turn on the TV, and switch the input selector on your TV so that the signal from the recorder
appears on the TV screen .
• Press eject button, and place a DVD+R or DVD+RW disc on the disc tray.
• Press eject button to close the disc tray.
• Switch the DVD recorder to the desired inputs sources by pressing the "Source" button. For
recording TV channels, press "CHANNEL+", "CHANNEL- " or numeric keys to select the desi-
red channels. (For example, switch to "F-AV" by pressing "Source"button continuously until
"F-AV" is displayed on the screen.)
• Press "Record" button to start recording. (Recording continues until you stop the recording
or disc is full)
To Stop recording
Press "Stop" button to stop recording. (Note that it may take a few seconds for recording to stop.)
To play the recorded program
Press "Play" button to play the recorded program.
Watch another TV program while recording
Switch the TV back to TV mode by the input selector on the TV remote control.
• If you do not want to watch TV while recording, you can turn off the TV.
• When you are using TV box, make sure to leave it on.
• You can select the recording quality by pressing "Display" button and select select the desi-
red quality.
Notes
• After pressing "Record" button, it may take short while to start recording.
• While recording or during recording pause, you cannot change the recording mode.
• If there is a power failure, the programme you are recording may be erased.
OVERWRITING A TITLE
You can overwrite a title already contained on a DVD+RW(not DVD+R) disc with new recording.
• In the index display, find the title to which the recording is to be overwrite.
• Ensure the length of the old title is long enough to cover the new recording.
• Press right arrow to enter the sub-menu.
• Select the "Overwrite title" and press "enter" button.
• Press "Source", "CHANNELl-", "CHANNEL+" or numeric keys to select the desired input source.
• Press "record" button to start recording.
OVERWRITING A DISC
You can overwrite a DVD+RW(not DVD+R) disc which already have recordings.
• In the index display, find the title to which the recording is to be overwrite.
• Press right arrow to enter the sub-menu.
• Select the "Overwrite disc" and press "enter" button.
• Press "Source", "CHANNEL-", "CHANNEL+" or numeric keys to select the desired input source.
• Press "record" button to start recording.
(Recording continues until you stop the recording or disc is full)
