APPLIANCE FEATURES
The appropriate level of relative humidity is vital for our proper functioning, good mood and
comfort. It is assumed that the most beneficial humidity level falls within the scope of 40-
60%. This scope is the healthiest for people and allows to reduce the growth of bacteria and
viruses. Additionally, it is the best level of humidity in relation to the durability of household
appliances and structural elements.
The HL-OS-20 features a dehumidifying mode with an adjustable humidity level. The selected
relative humidity level is monitored and reduced to the desired value. Condensed water va-
pour is collected in a water tank. You can set the timer to turn the dehumidifier on or off at a
specific time. A pre-filter, carbon filter and a UV lamp additionally purify the dehumidified air.
The applied R290 refrigerant free from hydrofluorocarbons (HFC) deteriorating the ozone
layer complies with regulations on the phase-out of HCFs from the EU and has a low global
warming potential (GWP).
dehumidifying mode (SMART) – humidity control, automatic start/stop at a desired time
timer (TIMER) – settable start/stop time ranging from 1 to 24 hours at one hour steps
humidity indicator light (HUMIDITY INDICATOR LIGHT) – colour-changing light indicating
the current humidity level:
blue – dry air, RH up to 60%
green – damp air, RH from 60% to 80%
red – humid air, RH over 80%
RH level LED display – displays the current RH level
fan mode (FAN) – the appliance will blow out air without humidity control, similarly to a
regular fan
defrost mode (DEFROST) – heats up the dehumidifier regularly to remove ice from the heat
exchanger and achieve better efficiency
UV lamp – biological treatment of air by killing viruses, bacteria and microbes
airflow speed LOW and HIGH – the low airflow speed mode (LOW) ensures quiet operation,
while the high airflow speed (HIGH) ensures high efficiency
