Suitable cookware

NOTICE

Risk of damage to property!

Improper handling of the appliance

may lead to damage to property.

■ Metal in the cooking compartment

produces sparks during microwave

and multi-function mode! This can

destroy the microwave and the view-

ing window! Do not use metal pots,

metal pans and metal lids or cook-

ware with metal parts such as gold

edges under any circumstances.

■ Do not use any containers made of

porcelain, ceramic or plastic and any

protective sheets during grill or mul-

ti-function mode which are not resist-

ant to high heat!

■ Do not use baking paper or similar!

■ If you notice that a container is get-

ting hotter than the food contained

in it, is not suitable for microwave

cooking. Do not use such containers.

The appliance offers different types of heat-

ing systems: Microwave mode, grill mode,

multi-function mode. Always select suitable

cookware for the different types of heating

systems. In each case observe the informa-

tion provided by the manufacturer. Unsuitable

cookware can causes damage to the appli-

ance.

For microwave and multi-

function mode

Only use microwaveable cookware. This in-

cludes:

– Fire-proof glass, ceramic, porcelain

– Fire- and frost-proof glass ceramic

– Highly heat-resistant, microwaveable plas-

tic (e.g. roasting bag)

– the included rotisserie racks or the rotary

plate

To ﬁ nd out if the dishes are microwave-

able, perform the following test:

1. Put the empty container in the cooking

compartment.

2. Press the

‘ ’

button (17).

This will start the appliance at full micro-

wave power for 30 seconds.

– If the cookware gets hot or if sparks are

produced, open the door immediately to

stop the process: This cookware is not

suitable!

– If the cookware remains cold or only

lukewarm, it can be used solely for mi-

crowave mode.

For the grill heating system

All materials are suitable for the grill heating

system, which are also used in a convention-

al oven. The included rotisserie rack is also

suitable.

Size and shape

– Flat wide containers are better than nar-

row high ones. ‘Flat’ food can cook more

evenly.

– Round or oval containers are better than

square ones. There is a risk of local over-

heating in the corners!
