NOTICE
Risk of damage to property!
Improper handling of the appliance can
lead to property damage.
The presence of any metal in the
cooking chamber can cause sparks
when operating the microwave or
when using the Combi mode. This
can destroy the device and the view-
ing pane. Do not use metal pots, met-
al pans and metal lids or dishware
with metal parts such as gold edges
under any circumstances.
When using the Grill, Convection or
Combi modes, do not use containers
made of porcelain, ceramic or plastic,
and do not use any lids that are not
high-heat resistant.
Do not use baking paper or similar.
If you discover that the container is
becoming hotter than the food itself,
then this container is not suitable for
microwave cooking. Do not use such
containers.
The device has a range of operating modes:
Microwave, Grill, Combi and Convection. Al-
ways choose the appropriate crockery for the
different cooking modes. Please also ensure
to observe the manufacturer’s guidelines.
Unsuitable crockery can lead to the device
becoming damaged.
For microwave mode
Please ensure you only use microwave-suit-
able crockery. This includes:
fire-resistant glass, ceramic, porcelain
fire and frost resistant glass ceramics
– High heat resistant and microwaveable
plastic (e.g. oven bag)
the grill rack supplied with the appliance.
In order to nd out whether the crock-
ery is microwaveable, you can conduct
the following test:
1. Put the empty container into the cooking
chamber (7).
2. Press the “Function” button (16).
The display (10) is showing P100.
3. Press the “Start / +30 Sec. / Confirm” but-
ton (13).
4. Set the cooking time using the function
dial (14) to 30 seconds.
5. Press the “Start / +30 Sec. / Confirm” but-
ton.
Then, the appliance will start with full mi-
crowave power for 30 seconds.
If the crockery becomes hot or if sparks
start to form, immediately open the door
to stop the cooking process: This crock-
ery is unsuitable.
If the dish remains cold or only luke-
warm, it may be used in the Microwave
mode.
For Grill, Convection and Combi
modes
Any materials used when cooking in a con-
ventional oven can also be used for these
cooking modes.
Size and form
Flat, wide containers are more suitable
than tall, narrow ones. “Flat” dishes can
cook through more evenly.
Round or oval shaped containers are more
suitable than square or rectangular con-
tainers. There is a potential for localised
overheating in the corners.
