To stop the cooking process completely
when it is paused, press the button
once more.
The display now shows the time again.
You can also use the button to re-
turn the appliance to idle mode from
the functions menu.
Defrosting operating mode
WARNING
Health hazard!
The water that melts during defrosting
can contain harmful bacteria, especial-
ly with meat and poultry!
Avoid any physical contact.
Pour defrost water away. Do not use
it for any other purpose.
Use the “Time Defrost” or “Weight Defrost”
mode to defrost frozen food.
Ideally, use food which has been frozen
at -18 °C in portions that are as thin as
possible.
Remove all packaging and weigh the
dish. The weight is required to ensure the
correct settings.
Place the food in an appropriately sized
container into which the defrost water can
run without overflowing.
Do not cover the food.
Halfway through the cooking time, turn
the food to be defrosted:
open the cooking chamber door halfway
through the cooking time. The operation
stops when the cooking chamber door
is open.
Rotate the dish. Pour defrost water away
as required.
Close the cooking chamber door.
To resume the defrosting process, press
the button
(10).
Defrosting by weight
Enter the weight of the frozen food you would
like to defrost, and the appliance will select
the optimal defrosting time for this weight.
1. Place a dish or a beverage in the cooking
chamber, close the door and make sure it
locks in securely in place.
2. Use the function control dial (8) to select
the “Weight Defrost” mode.
The dEF1 signal appears on the display.
3. Turn the control dial (9) to enter the
weight of the dish (between 100 g and
2000 g, in steps of 100 g).
4. Press the button (10).
The appliance starts. The ventilator starts.
The light in the cooking chamber switches
on.
The pre-programmed time appears for the
entered weight, which then counts down.
Five beeps will sound as soon the cooking
time has finished.
The appliance switches off. The display
now again shows the time.
5. Open the door and carefully remove the
dish from the cooking chamber.
