NOTICE
Risk of damage to property!
Improper handling of the appliance
can lead to property damage.
The presence of any metal in the
cooking chamber can cause sparks
when operating the microwave or
when using the Combi mode! This
can destroy the device and the view-
ing pane! Do not use metal pots, met-
al pans and metal lids or cookware
with metal parts such as gold edges
under any circumstances.
When in grill, convection, or mul-
ti-function mode, do not use any por-
celain, ceramic or plastic containers
or fi lm wrap that cannot withstand
high temperatures.
Do not use baking paper or similar!
Containers that become hotter than
the food inside them are not suitable
for microwave cooking. Do not use
such containers.
The appliance offers different types of heat-
ing: Microwave, grill, convection, and mul-
ti-function mode. Always choose the appropri-
ate cookware for the different heating modes.
Please also ensure to observe the manufac-
turer’s guidelines. Unsuitable crockery can
lead to the device becoming damaged.
For microwave mode
Please ensure you only use microwave-suit-
able crockery. This includes:
fire-resistant glass, ceramic, porcelain
fire and frost resistant glass ceramics
– High heat resistant and microwaveable
plastic (e.g. oven bag)
In order to nd out whether the crock-
ery is microwaveable, you can conduct
the following test:
1. Put the empty container in the cooking
compartment.
2. Press the Stopp/Löschen button (11) 2× if
necessary to end any running operation.
3. Press the Adjusting dial +30s (10). Then
the device will start with full microwave
power for 30 seconds.
If the crockery becomes hot or if sparks
start to form, immediately open the door
to stop the cooking process: This dish-
ware is not suitable!
If the dish remains cold or only luke-
warm, it may be used in the Microwave
mode.
If you wish to use aluminium foil to cover the
cooking utensils, use it sparingly and ensure
that there is always a distance of at least 3
cm from the cooking chamber walls and the
cooking chamber door.
The grill pan (6) is not suitable for microwave
and multi-function modes C-1, C-2 and C-4.
Grill, convection, and multi-
function mode
Any materials used when cooking in a con-
ventional oven can also be used for these
heating modes.
Size and form
Flat, wide containers are more suitable
than tall, narrow ones. “Flat” dishes can
cook through more evenly.
Round or oval shaped containers are more
suitable than square or rectangular con-
tainers. There is a risk of localised over-
heating in the corners!
