Ne shranjujte prevelikih količin hrane. Med posameznimi živili pustite nekaj mesta,

itd., se lahko v hladilniku pospeši. Zato jih ni priporočljivo hraniti v hladilniku. Zorenje
močno zelenih plodov pa za nekaj časa lahko pospešite. Tudi čebulo, česen, ingver
in drugo korenovko je treba hraniti pri sobni temperaturi.
Neprijetni vonji v hladilniku so znak, da se je nekaj razlilo in da je potrebno čiščenje.
