Se deberá enfriar los alimentos calientes a
temperatura ambiente antes de almacenarlos
en el frigorífico.
Limpie los alimentos y seque cualquier gota
que se encuentre sobre estos antes de
colocarlos en el frigorífico.
Se deberá sellar en forma adecuada los
alimentos que se desea almacenar.
Esto evitará que los alimentos se humedezcan
debido a la evaporación y que se echen a
perder.
Almacenamiento ordenado de los alimentos.
Se deberá ordenar los alimentos que se desea
almacenar según su categoría. Se deberá
colocar en la parte frontal de los estantes los
alimentos de consumo diario. Esto evita que la
puerta esté abierta durante demasiado tiempo
así como que los alimentos lleguen a su fecha
de vencimiento debido a que usted olvidó
consumirlos.
No almacene cantidades excesivas de
alimentos.
Se deberá almacenar los alimentos dejando
un espacio entre éstos. Esto permite que el
aire frío circule sin problemas y por lo tanto,
se logre mejores resultados de
almacenamiento.
No coloque los alimentos demasiado cerca de
las paredes interiores.
No almacene alimentos con alto contenido de
humedad pegados a las paredes internas. De
lo contrario, podrían congelarse en las paredes.
Coloque los alimentos alejados de las paredes
internas.
Evite que los alimentos (especialmente los alimentos en aceite) entren en
contacto directo con el revestimiento interno, debido a que el aceite podría
deteriorar el revestimiento interno. Por lo tanto, se recomienda limpiar
cualquier suciedad aceitosa que se encuentre en el frigorífico.
