Fiddlesticks!
Which child reveals fine fingertip sensitivity and
quickly finds by touch the counter searched for?
An educational game for 2 – 6 children aged 3 to 6.

Length of the game: 5 - 10 Minuten (je nach Spielvariante)
In a playful way, motor skills, concentration and rapid reactions are
used. In the hectic basic game all players compete simultaneously .
But there is also a more peaceful variant.
Fiddlesticks! The toy car was there a minute ago and suddenly it has dis-
appeared. Then comes the usual reprimand that your room is untidy and
that you should clean it.
Maybe it’s not your fault and the magic imps are responsible? Sometimes
they zip across the children’s room and hide toys in their magic bags! But
if you discover the magic bags and work out by touch what is hidden in
them, the imps give everything back to you.
Before starting to play the players should take a good look
at the wooden pieces and the corr esponding pictures to get
to know them.
•You can put the wooden pieces on the pictures: the outlines
correspond so that you can compare them.
• As working out the shape by touch is not that easy you can
practice it first: the players hold the pieces with closed eyes
and try to understand by fingertip what shape they have .
• in order to get acquainted you can start with the more
peaceful variant (see page 9).
