Variant for 2 players
Both players write the numbers from 1 to 20 on their
sheet, and a secret number on a small piece of paper.
The younger player may be the king’s prodigy first, the
other asks the question.
• If the king’s prodigy answers with “no“,
they can draw a crown on their sheet of paper.
• If the king’s prodigy answers with “yes“
the other player crosses out on their sheet all the
numbers which are no longer possible.
After each question the players change role and the
other now is the king’s prodigy.
If a player has guessed the secret number of the other,
they can also draw a crown on their sheet.
A new round starts. Again both players write down a secret
number and a row of numbers from 1 to 20.
End of the game
Whoever has drawn the most crowns on their paper after a
certain number of rounds previously agreed upon, wins the
game.
