Throwing the sea lion:
If your dice shows a sea lion, you have to join up your fishes with another
player of your choice. All of the fish of the two sea lions are combined and
then redistributed – both sea lions get half the amount of combined fish.
Example:
Up to this point you have caught three fish. Now your dice shows the sea
lion. Another player was luckier than you and has already caught five fish.
You combine both your fish. You each take alternately a fish and put
them on your counting card. Having redistributed the fish in this way each
of you now has got four fish.
If the number of total combined fish is uneven and one fish is left over, this
fish has to be put back into the pool.
Whenever your dice shows the sea lion, you have to join up with another
player, even if the other players have less fish or none at all.
If two sea lions meet:
If two sea lions meet on the same space after a throw of the dice, then they
play together.
The player whose counter has landed on a space where there is already
another sea lion first takes the amount of fish corresponding to the color
of the space.
Then you mix all your fish and redistribute them:
The players each alternatly take one fish and place them on their coun-
ting cards.
After redistributing the fish, both players should have an equal number of
fish.
If a fish is left over because the original amount of fish was uneven, it must
be put back into the pool.
On each space you can have only two sea lions. If a third sea lion lands
on a space where there are already two sea lions, he skips it and goes on
to the next space.
End of the game:
The game ends, when a player has caught 10 fish or all the little fish have
been caught from the pool. Look closely at your counting card and count
the number of fish you have caught: whoever has got the most fish, wins
the game.
