Game 4: Memorizing
A memory game for cunning performers.
Whoever has a good memory and collects the most groceries will
win the game!
Preparation of the game
Put the groceries inside the bag. Shuffle the cards and spread
them face down on the table.
How to play
Play in a clockwise direction. Whoever has been to the bakery
most recently may start. If you cannot agree, the youngest player
starts and uncovers two cards, one by one.
• Do the two cards match to form a pair?
Well done! Look inside the bag for the bit of food shown on
the card and place it in front of you. If it is already in front of
another player, they have to hand it over to you.
Return one of the uncovered cards to the game box and
cover again the other card.
• The two cards don't match?
Pity! Cover both cards once all the other players have seen
them.
Then it's the turn of the next player.
End of the game
The game ends when the last piece of food has been taken out of
the bag. The player with the most groceries wins the game. In the
case of a tie there are various winners.

Whoever uncovers first a card shows the piece searched for,
snatches for it and yells “Stop!” The other players stop searching
and check:
• Have you uncovered the right card?
Then you may keep the foodstuff and keep it in front of you.
Put the uncovered cards into the game box.
• You did not uncover the right card?
Then you have to place the foodstuff back into the center.The
other players keep searching. You may not search any more in
this round.
The player who uncovered the right card takes a new type of
food out of the bag and puts it in the center.The game continues
with the remaining cards.
Important: Once all the remaining cards in the center have been
uncovered, the 30 cards are shuffled again and spread out on the
table.The chosen piece of food stays in the center.
End of the game
The game ends when the last piece of food has been distributed.
The player with the most groceries wins the game. In the case of
a tie there are various winners.
